WHEN IS A CARD A 3D PROJECT?

Originally I hoped to share a gift box with you today.Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a small potted cactus to make a gift box for. Instead I made an easel card because, at least, when standing it does qualify as 3D.

The Cinnamon Cider card base is a perfect match for the brick paper from the Bloom Where You’re Planted 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Before attaching the calendar to the front I added a strip of the same paper around a pen and secured it under the calendar.

The pot and cactus were stamped and fussy cut. Then a length of Linen Thread was wrapped around the plant and tied in a bow.

The message, from the Cactus Cuties Stamp Set, is perfect for this project.

So, we agree that this is not a box but it’s still a great little project.

These calendar and notepad easel cards are so quick and easy to make.

Tomorrow I have a fun fold card to share.

until then, happy stamping.
