WELL, WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEDNESDAY?

Today I have a card that most of us don’t really ever want to need to make.

A sympathy card is such a special way to let someone you know that you are thinking of them in their time of loss and sorrow.

I think that the card I have to share with you today is a very elegant sympathy card.

Featuring the Gold Foiled FLowers Cards & Envelopes, I decided to make a Slimline Card.

I used the full length of the Gold Foiled Flowers Card and cut it to 3 1/4″wide.

This panel was attached to a slightly larger panel of Lost LAgoon cardstock. Then I attached some lengths of Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon to the back of each side of this layer, bringing them around to the front and tied a simple knot. The ribbon ends were then trimmed back.

I adhered this payer to the card base.

My next step involved cutting Lost Lagoon, Gold Foiled Flowers Card and Very Vanilla panels using the Everyday Details Dies.

These three panels were overlapped and then placed on the card front with dimensionals.

I cut some thin strips from the remaining Gold Foiled FLowering Card and added them inside the card and to the envelope.

To finish the card, I added some Lost Lagoon embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
