I shared a couple of tips yesterday and today I will share a few more.
The card I am sharing today isone that I made for last week’s Global Design Project.

The card has 53 stamped and die cut apples and 30 stamped and die cut pumpkins.
TIP: To make cutting the apples and pumpkin a little more efficient I stamp multiple images. The next step is to die cut a guide for each shape. I secure the stamped images to my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine cutting plate – then I secure the die cut guide over a stamped image to ensure an even area around the image and finally, I placed the die within the guie and cut the stamped image.
TIP: I chose a 2 3/4″ circle die, from the Spotlight on Nature Dies, to lightly pencil a circle in the centre of my Basic White panel. Then I adhered the apples around the pencil mark in three concentric circles.
TIP: To create the pumpkin wreath, I cut a Vellum base using the same circle die that I used to trace and mark the shape for the apples.
To create the wreath I started by adhering the pumpkins around the outer edge of the vellum circle. Then I worked the next two overlapping layers and attached them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Before placing the wreath on the panel, I used Stampin’ Seal+ to secure some of the Copper Clay and Wild Wheat Jute Trim on the vellum. The jute lengths were untwisted to create a single ‘ply’ of the twine.
I added Dimensionals to the back of the vellum wreath base and positioned it in the centre of the Basic White panel.
Three pies were stamped, coloured and die cut. I secured them around the pumpkin wreath leaving space for a greeting.
After adding Adhesive Sheet to the back of some Crushed Curry card, I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut the greeting.The ‘pie filling’ was painted using Clear Wink of Stella.
I used a length of jute to tie a bow and then secured it with a Mini Glue dot.
Finally, the card insert and envelope had some pumpkins added.
