TIME FOR A NEW CARD MAKING TECHNIQUE THIS TUESDAY

It has been loads of fun looking for different techniques to share each Tuesday. Today I have a colouring technique using bleach.

I used an Early Espresso card base and Early Espresso ink to stamp the large floral image on to the bottom left-hand corner of the card.

Two more were stamped on to smaller pieces of the Early Espresso cardstock and die cut.

Each of the floral images were then lightly ‘painted’ with bleach. This lightens the cardstock colour. In this instance, a dark chocolately pink was the result of bleach colouring.

The two bleached floral images were die cut before being scrunched to pop up on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I took the ledger-styled piece of DSP and cut it for the card front. Then I carefully tore a large curved shape that could be positioned across the top and down the side of the card front.

The birthday greeting was stamped and cut using the smaller banner die from the Sending Dies set.

Finally, I took a length of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon, cut it in half lengthwise and tied it inot a tight bow with trimmed ends. A Mini Glue Dot holds the bow in place.

The card insert and envelope have some of the large floral image stamped using Early Espresso ink.

I’m not sure yet, but I may add some embellishments to the card. What do you think? What should I add?

Tomorrow is Wednesday – a wonderful day to share challenge and blog hop projects.

Until then, happy stamping.
