I enjoy making gift boxes. It makes giving a gift to someone even more special when you havent bought the box from a $2 store … well, that’s what I think.
This 4″ x 4″ x 2″ gift box is all, gleaming gold.

The box base and lid were made using Thick Basic White cardstock.
I used two of the gold Specialty DSP designs to decorate the sides of the base and the top and sides of the lid.

I took a length of gold ribbon, from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo, and secured it to the base of the bow and then tied a bow on top.
Using one of the Lovely & Sweet Dies to cut a cacao image from the DSP.
After placing dimensionals under the die cut image, I positioned it over the trim to secure it in place.

I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and gold embossing powder to create coordinating gold shine.
Believe it, or not, I do not have anything to pop into the gift box yet. But I am sure that I soon will.
What would you like to be inside the box if it was gifted to you?
Tomorrow is Fancy Fold Friday.
Until then, happy stamping.
