WELL DRESSED @ THE COUNTRY CLUB

It is the second last day of Sale-a-bration and time to show off the WELL DRESSED STAMP SET that many of you will have chosen, with a qualifying order.

I love the stamp images – very dapper!

The COUNTRY CLUB DSP, in the January through June Mini Catalogue, is also perfect, for projects, for the men in our lives.

WELL DRESSED CLING STAMP SET by Stampin' Up!
COUNTRY CLUB DESIGNER SERIES PAPER by Stampin' Up!

I decided to create a Well Dressed Gift Set – a gift box and coordinating card (in this case, I made two cards for two different occasions).

AND, I really wanted to use my Stamparatus to position the images accurately for my designs. I love my Stamparatus!

6″ x 6″ gift box, Father’s Day card and Retirement card

The big, bold colours of the stamped images and the Designer Series Paper definitely suit masculine cards.

Here’s a closer look at each project:

I imagine the gift box could include a tie, socks and t-shirt.

I was sooooo excited when I saw the geometric image resulting from the stamped collar outline rotating through the Stamparatus.

Receiving a watch on retirement seems a traditional gift – perfect for this card.
An umbrella for a Father’s Day card symbolises the way a dad protects his children.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

LADYBUG SHUTTER CARD

As we are just a few days away from the end of Sale-a-bration, I wanted to use the LITTLE LADYBUG STAMP SET – this is the extra special, free set from Stampin’ Up! ® to those who placed a party or personal order of $500 AU or above.

I have seen quite a few shutter cards online recently and decided it was time I tried this style, using the ladybug.

This card will be popped away until our eldest daughter’s birthday later in the year – PERFECT – her nickname is ‘bug’.

Ladybugs and flowers are a perfect combination, so I used my PEACEFUL POPPIES DSP for this card.

The four rollicking ladybugs add the humour to a “grown up’s” card … as does the cute ladybug hiding behind the shutter.

Peekaboo!

Because I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I enjoy lots of perks! Not only do I enjoy a minimum 20% discount on my personal orders; I also get to see, and order, new products and catalogues before our Stampin’ Up! customers.

My ORNATE GARDEN pre-order arrived the day before I created this card, so I decided to use one of the ORNATE LAYERS DIES to frame the birthday sentiment.

The ORNATE GARDEN SUITE will be featured in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and available to our customers from April 1 … no fooling.

If you would like more information about this early release suite, contact me.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

RAINBOW BLOOMS

The new SMALL BLOOM PUNCH was featured in the first release Sale-a-bration pamphlet as a Level 2 free product.

The very good news is that it will be available, after Sale-a-bration, when the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue is launched, later in the year.

This project is a decor piece and uses 43 of the 50 Stampin’ Up! ® colours.

I want to send a huge thanks to Julie DiMatteo (the Paper Pixie) whose rainbow list I used to sequence the colours.

Each flower is made up of three punched and scrunched bloom shapes adhered with multipurpose glue.

I started with the Cherry Cobbler flower in the centre, on a 9″x 9″ piece of Basic Black card stock, and worked my way out. To help me maintain the circular shapes, I used the smallest and largest LAYERING CIRCLES DIES as a guide. For the outer circle, I used some baking paper to cut a circle guide to the size I needed (a radius of 2.5″).

I couldn’t quite fit the last two colours – Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss – into the circle, so decided to let them just fall out from the others.

The frame I used is a RIBBA shadow box from Ikea … I’m sure lots of you already know about them for decor projects.

This frame is now sitting on my daughter’s work desk.

Thanks for dropping by … happy punching.
