These cards started with me wanting to colour one of the sheets of paper from the FLOWERING FOILS SPECIALTY DSP packs, from the soon to be available Sale-a-bration Second Release … (March 3).
Today, I decided to use a range of our blues … you should see how inky my fingers are at the moment. My craft space might be clean and tidy now but I’m a mess.
You might not think that blues and flowers are a natural look, yet I’m really pleased with result … what do you think?

Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party; worked into an ombre style using our sponge brayers.
Luckily, I had a small amount of retired rose gold foil in my stash that I could use.

For this card, I simply used Night of Navy and worked the colour from very light to its true colour.
I like the way the blues really make the rose gold foil pop.
In case you haven’t already noticed, I enjoy layering. Layering the leaves behind the poppy was inspired by a video from Emma Goddard, of the Artisan Team. It is wonderful to have so inspiration readily at hand – the SU catalogues, Pinterest, Facebook … so many sources.
Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
mmm … Michele
