When I found out last year that my application to be an Onstage Local Display-board Demonstrator was successful, I was so thrilled.
Some time later, when my box of yet-to-be-released products arrived, I felt challenged because I do not create many children’s related projects. Ultimately, I overcame this and was very pleased with the projects I proudly displayed – here is a recap:
In preparation for my 2018 Occasions Catalogue Open House I wanted to create a decor piece for a girl’s bedroom … this is the result.
For those of you in Australia, I found this 8″x 8″ floating frame in Target for $8! It comes in white, black and a light timber colour.
The project base is 6″x 6″ and I have used the Myths & Magic SDSP; Magical Day stamp set; Stampin’ Blends; Rainbow Builders Framelits Dies; Celebrate You Thinlits Dies; Wink of Stella.

Saturday’s 2018 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Open House was lots of fun … and although the numbers were small, those who were there enjoyed a terrific day.
On arrival, everyone received their bag with catalogues, samples and freebies.
Then it was time to check out the wonderful new Stampin’ Up!® products … before moving on to making five projects, perusing the catalogues and playing bingo for great prizes … with lots of chatting and refreshments to sustain us.
I’m very fortunate to have a large space to set up for classes and arrange displays …
Five projects using both Occasions and Sale-a-bration products … cardstock, inkpads, stamps, embossing folders, ribbons and embellishments … it doesn’t take much to create a supply of cards to #makeacardsendacard.
With my class schedule ready for the next six months, I’m looking forward to upcoming classes and hope to introduce more local crafters to Stampin’ Up!®.
