FIRST EVENT FOR 2016 … OCCASIONS CATALOGUE & SALE-A-BRATION LAUNCH

Although many of you have already seen and started to ‘wishlist’ goodies from the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration offers … I will be hosting a launch event at my home on Sunday January 31st – pop by anytime from 10am …

I will have lots of project ideas using many of the new products to share with you, as well as a PRODUCT PLAYGROUND for you to play with some of these new products … just to show you how versatile they are.

You will have the opportunity to make 2 standard cards, a 3″x 3″ gift card and four/five gift tags … enjoy the company of like-minded crafters … have a little light refreshment throughout the event … and take away your own copy of the catalogues … for only $20.

Contact me to reserve your place and ensure your projects pack is ready for you … as soon as you reserve your place, I will confirm location details.

REMEMBER – during Sale-a-bration, you are able to select one Sale-a-bration product for every $90 order you place (if you select a few new products from the Occasions catalogue and a few items from the current annual catalogue, with a total of $185 pp – you can choose two available items from the Sale-a-brations catalogue … BONUS)

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible!!

HOLIDAYS = CREATING TIME …

This is the first time, in 30+ plus years as a teacher, when I have not touched any schoolwork (yet) … that equates to four weeks of holidays!!

There may have been some domestic chores to deal with and Christmas preparations & celebrations … but, most of this time has been indulgently spent crafting.

After returning from a few days in Noosa – catching up with my sister and brother and their families, I have been back in my ‘craft cave’ preparing samples to display at my Occasions Catalogue event at the end of January.

I have been re-creating many of the projects found in the catalogue and creating a few of my own …

This is my interpretation of the ‘Going Places’ framed image – page 38.

I re-created the ‘Missing You’ card from p21, using the Happy Home stamp set … and, loving the kite scene stamp, created this card using the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set ‘Sky is the Limit’ along with ‘Happy Home’ and the window thinlit from the ‘Hearth & Home’ thinlits dies.

Finally … after re-creating the ‘Welcome Baby’ card from page 24, I created this ‘Welcome Home’ card – it is hard to go past primary colours – in this case – Crushed Curry, Real Red and Night of Navy.

In the past two days, I have crafted almost 25 cards … holidays are amazing … however, it is back to school for me next week …my goal for 2016 is to be creative every day and post at least twice a week … let’s see how I go!!

TO EACH OF YOU AROUND THE WORLD … YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!

My first post was in September 2014 and it wasn’t until early 2015 that I began posting a little more regularly … now, it seems like I’m posting every other day and I am having a blast!

It is lots of fun to occasionally check out how many people have stopped by to have a peek at my site … and as a traveler, exciting to see where each of you are from.

Yesterday there were 191 views from 72 people from 10 different countries … that is amazing … THANK YOU to each of you for taking time to see what I have been doing!

So … you do mean the world to me …

This card features the World Traveler Textured Embossing Folder (TIEF), one of the sentiments from the Going Global Stamp Set and one of designs from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack – all from the new Occasions Catalogue!

Next … without each of you popping in to see each of my posts … there wouldn’t be much point and I would be “… lost without you”!

… and just in case you think that my ‘eye’ is a little off … the compass and sentiment spin!!!

I hope that everyone goes to great places in 2016 …
