TO EACH OF YOU AROUND THE WORLD … YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME!

My first post was in September 2014 and it wasn’t until early 2015 that I began posting a little more regularly … now, it seems like I’m posting every other day and I am having a blast!

It is lots of fun to occasionally check out how many people have stopped by to have a peek at my site … and as a traveler, exciting to see where each of you are from.

Yesterday there were 191 views from 72 people from 10 different countries … that is amazing … THANK YOU to each of you for taking time to see what I have been doing!

So … you do mean the world to me …

This card features the World Traveler Textured Embossing Folder (TIEF), one of the sentiments from the Going Global Stamp Set and one of designs from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack – all from the new Occasions Catalogue!

Next … without each of you popping in to see each of my posts … there wouldn’t be much point and I would be “… lost without you”!

… and just in case you think that my ‘eye’ is a little off … the compass and sentiment spin!!!

I hope that everyone goes to great places in 2016 …

BUG TIME

I have started preparing for my Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-brations event …

# make and takes finalised – 5 gift tags, a 3″x 3″ gift card and 2 standard sized cards with coordinating envelopes

# product playground ideas tested

# and, CASEing the catalogue almost finished.

I have CASEd several projects that are found in both the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues … these will part of a product display on the day.  [CASEing = copy and share]

Our Stampin’ Up! catalogues are an amazing source of inspiration …

… here are three cards inspired by the products and cards on page 15 of the Occasions catalogue … two are my interpretation of the cards featured and one of my own design … all featuring the Beautiful Ride stamp set …

Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White and Basic Black – I love this combination … throw in a little Everyday Chic washi tape, a staple and some dimensionals …

I used the Shimmery White cardstock for this watercolour effect … so quick and easy …

Perfect Plum and Crushed Curry may not be everyone’s favourite combination but I think it works well … this is the first project that I have used paper from the Going Places DSP stack … it has an amazing range of designs and I can’t wait to play with it further. I also used some of the Botanical Gardens washi tape and the Project Life Let’s Get Away stamp set from the annual catalogue.

For me, Stampin’ Up! products are amazing … not only because of their design and quality, but for their coordination – you can mix and match stamp sets to create your own project, the colours coordinate across colour families and paper, the tools make crafting and creating easier and the embellishments let us add the perfect finishing touch!

… and I cannot wait to wake up in the morning and start creating again …

MORE SNEAK PEEKS …

One thing that I enjoy is the time during holidays to blissfully craft away without any thought of ‘what should I be doing now?’ …

and … when holidays coincide with new catalogue release dates … it is really a great time … so, here are two more sneak peeks – two new cards created using a range of brand new products that become available for customer to order from 5th January – almost there!!

Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey meet the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set and Blossom Bunch Punch featured in the Occasions Catalogue … as well as the Floral Wings Stamp Set (Hostess set from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue).

This is a remake/CASE of a gift card package that I made a little while ago in one of Tanya Bell’s classes (Stampin’ T) … when people ask me why I am ‘with Stampin’ Up!’, my answer always reflects my continuing excitement about the SU product range and the coordination and integration of colour, shape, style, paper, ink, stamp sets, tools … there is no ‘guess work’ … it all works together!
