APRIL STAMPIN’ TIME CLASSES … IT’S BOUQUETS FOR MOTHERS’ DAY

I shared a sneak peek a few days ago …

Now here are the three cards we will be making this Sunday [or on the 24th April] …

We will be stamping, water colouring, heat embossing, tying bows, using thinlits, adding bling and layering DSP … not to mention a bit of gluing, adding dimensionals and bling, as well as using three different card base folds!

It almost sounds exhausting – therefore, we will need to have a refreshment break during the afternoon.

… and this is the card that I have made for my mum … the first person to send me feedback correctly describing how I made the hearts will have this card sent to them as a kit! [limited to those living in Australia]

SETTING GOALS

I have lots of things on my to-do lists – crafting list, demonstrator list, mum list, work list, horrible jobs to do around the house list …. some of these I get to quickly and others just seem to linger [like the ‘need to clean the windows’ job].

…and I must confess I am very easily distracted.

So when the quarterly Stampin’ Success magazine arrived, every other goal went out of those dirty windows!

Some of you might be asking “What is a Stampin’ Success magazine?” … it is one of the many benefits of being an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! … it is a colour magazine brimming with amazing project ideas and information about products, demonstrators from around the world, techniques and lots, lots more.

My goal was to create every project in the magazine!

My crafting goal was achieved … well almost. I completed 34 of the 35 projects in this quarter’s Stampin’ Success magazine [the Sweet Little Kitten card will have to wait – the ironing just wouldn’t go away!]

So that’s – 30 pairs of cards and 4 smaller gift card pairs … I transformed any non-card projects into cards and have the magazine version and an alternative … and for the few stamp sets or DSP used that I didn’t have in my collection, I substituted and was pretty close. [very embarrassing that there were only a few that I didn’t have – sshhh – don’t tell my husband!]

I will post images of my favourites another time!
