The Occasions Catalogue ‘goes live’ to Stampin’ Up! customers on the 5th January 2016 ….
and, one thing I love about being a Demonstrator is that I am able to pre-order the amazing new products so that I can start creating during December!
My pre-order arrived during the last week of school so I only had time to unpack and start thinking of the projects I could create in the lead up to my Catalogue Launch event on 31st January (time enough to get have recovered from all the business of Christmas and New Year’s celebrations and for many of you, getting children fitted out and back to school.
I did order lots of goodies (not everything!!) … when you see the catalogue you’ll understand why!
So – now that I have started my school holidays, I have started creating! (I have also been attending to household pleasures like cleaning the oven … marathon ironing … might pass on cleaning the windows for a few days).
These first projects feature the BOTANICAL BLOOMS STAMP SET, BOTANICAL GARDENS DSP and the BOTANICAL BUILDER FRAMELITS DIES. I cannot wait for you to see the great bundle offer for these products!
The framelits are amazing – the cut away flowers give an added dimension to any project … minimal stamping on this card and a bit of sponging. The combination of colours inspired by the BOTANICAL GARDENS DSP gives a lush tropical feel … Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, Old Olive.
I had to wonder if the Birds of Paradise in Hawaii inspired this DSP … the full 12×12 sheet looks stunning, but for this card I chose to use just a strip, layered on top of some of the other DSP … take a closer look. After using the framelits for the first card, I thought I might do a little fussy cutting and created the feature flower. Cajun Craze adds to the lush colour palette and I love the pop of Mint Macaron.
Last card for this post …. again, I think Hawaii has influenced this set of DSP … hibiscus, crystal clear water and volcanic earth …
I cannot wait to keep making more projects using the BOTANICAL GARDENS products … and the other goodies waiting to be played with!
