STEP IT UP SUNDAY

As Sunday rolls around again, I have taken the layout from yesterday’s cards and took them out for a ride.

For the image I added colour directly to the stamp by using the Stampin’ Write Markers ®.

I used one of the dies from the All That Dies set to cut out the banners. I alternated between gluing them down and using Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop them up.

A few Rustic Metallic Dots and the card is done. Now, onto the next.

The He’sAll That DSP also has 2 sheets of push out elements. I used the classic car for this card.

The card background is a piece of the DSP, cut to the size of the folded card, and adhered to the front.

A length of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Ribbon was wrapped around the strip of Crushed Curry cardstock and tied in a knot. This card was then secured to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also used dimensionals on the classic car.

I had several die cut banners left over from the previous card, so I used the same stamp for the previous card and just added ink to the word ‘classic’. I added a mask to the across the top edge of the banner before stamping the word.

The wheel centres had some of the rustic dots added to them.

For this card, I started by adding a piece of Basic Black cardstock to the card.

The pulled out ‘page’ is from the DSP bundle. I cut it into three pieces and added it to the card.

The triangular shapes were die cut after I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of Cajun Craze cardstock. This made it so easy, and clean, to position the shapes across the card front.

The birthday greeting was stamped and die cut using the scalloped circle from the All That Dies set. It was popped up with dimensionals.

The Rustic Dots are a perfect embillshment for this suite.

I stamped ‘classic’ again and cut it out to pop it up and vary the colour.

I enjoy Step It Up Sunday. The real challenge on Saturday is to make #simplestamping cards. It is so much easier to create more complex cards when you have everything available at your fingertips.

Tomorrow is Monday Memories and I have a scrapbook layout ready to add some photos of Rob and his new barbecue.

Until then, happy stamping.
