WELL, WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEDNESDAY?

Well, this Wednesday I have a lot to share with you!

Many of you may be aware that former Close To My Heart Makers have been able to transition into becoming demonstrators with Stampin’ Up!. With this, many CTMH products were incorporated into the product range managed by SU. At first, these were only available to former Makers, but now these products are more widely available, while stocks last.

There is a current CTMH product offer, while stocks last.

Let me show you the product release catalogues, since May this year. Click on each image to open the catalogue PDF.

I hope that you find some great products for your future crafting projects.

In other news, I wanted to share information about Stampin’ Up!s product release calendar. This may help you with your future planning and saving to order new products. As a Demonstrator, I know that I use this information to plan my purchases.

There are several product releases each year.

There are three CATALOGUES released each year – in January there is the first Mini Catalogue that runs until the end of May; the Annual Catalogue that runs from May to April of the following year; and, the September to end of December Mini Catalogue.

In 2025, a new Annual Scrapbooking Brochure will also be released.

Then, we have ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. These products are released online quite frequently – January, March, May, July, September and November. It is really worthwhile checking out the Online Store regularly.

PHEW – that was quite a lot to process. I will try to keep you up to speed each week so that you don’t miss anything.

TODAY

I have a super, easy card to share with you.

For this card I used the gorgeous little gingerbread man image and integrated it with the HUMBLE HOME BUNDLE and the MINI ALPHABET DIES.

I started with a Crumb Cake cardbase and an Early Espresso layer.

Then I stamped, cut and coloured lots of lttle gingerbread men.

After adding some Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Crumb Cake card, I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut all the letters needed for this card.

Then, I stamped and punched out three gingerbread houses.

The card was assembled, as you can see in the image above.

The card insert and envelope both had some little gingerbread men added to them.

This was such a quick and easy card to make.

Tomorrow, I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

TODAY IS TUESDAY & IT’S TIME FOR SOME TIPS AND TECHNIQUES

I shared a couple of tips yesterday and today I will share a few more.

The card I am sharing today isone that I made for last week’s Global Design Project.

I posted it to Instagram – you may have seen it there.

The card has 53 stamped and die cut apples and 30 stamped and die cut pumpkins.

TIP: To make cutting the apples and pumpkin a little more efficient I stamp multiple images. The next step is to die cut a guide for each shape. I secure the stamped images to my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine cutting plate – then I secure the die cut guide over a stamped image to ensure an even area around the image and finally, I placed the die within the guie and cut the stamped image.

TIP: I chose a 2 3/4″ circle die, from the Spotlight on Nature Dies, to lightly pencil a circle in the centre of my Basic White panel. Then I adhered the apples around the pencil mark in three concentric circles.

TIP: To create the pumpkin wreath, I cut a Vellum base using the same circle die that I used to trace and mark the shape for the apples.

To create the wreath I started by adhering the pumpkins around the outer edge of the vellum circle. Then I worked the next two overlapping layers and attached them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Before placing the wreath on the panel, I used Stampin’ Seal+ to secure some of the Copper Clay and Wild Wheat Jute Trim on the vellum. The jute lengths were untwisted to create a single ‘ply’ of the twine.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the vellum wreath base and positioned it in the centre of the Basic White panel.

Three pies were stamped, coloured and die cut. I secured them around the pumpkin wreath leaving space for a greeting.

After adding Adhesive Sheet to the back of some Crushed Curry card, I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut the greeting. The ‘pie filling’ was painted using Clear Wink of Stella.

I used a length of jute to tie a bow and then secured it with a Mini Glue dot.

Finally, the card insert and envelope had some pumpkins added.

Tomorrow, I have a gingerbread-inspired card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

IT’S MONDAY & THAT MEANS IT IS TIME TO HIGHLIGHT SOME NEW STAMIN’ UP! PRODUCTS

For the last 2 weeks I have been working on finding new homes for lots of my retired Stampin’ Up! products – it’s surprising how much time was needed to do this.

I am so pleased to be back creating again and I have five projects to share with you this week.

This week’s product bundle I have chosen to create with is the MORE THAN AUTUMN BUNDLE.

Ten days ago I posted a Colour INKspiration project that used this bundle. I knew that I wanted to make some more projects using it!

For this first project I decided to use the Round We Go Dies as well as the featured bundle.

I started by creating a Floating Panel card using Poppy Parade card and some paper from the Brights 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Use this die to create rosettes – cut 3.

To make the two rosette pieces I cut three Basic White and three DSP panels using the die, indicated above.

I folded into a concertina along each of the foldlines.

TIP: Fold the smaller tab end under and then alternate each crease line. Start each of the three die cut pieces in the same way. Then adhere the smaller tab end to the longer end of the next piece – repeat.

When all three pieces are glued together, push the scalloped edge in tightly toward the centre and glue it to a die cut circle – hold in place until the glue has dried.

TIP: To make the smaller rosette, I cut 1/2″ off the scalloped edge of each piece.

I stamped two of the takeaway cups using Night of Navy ink – one onto Basic White and the other on Night of Navy. Then I fussy cut the bottom and central panels of the Night of Navy cup and glued them to the Basic White cup.

I stamped and die cut a straw and a candy cane to add to the top of the cup.

Then I stamped multiple candy canes to the Poppy Parade card base and one to the back of the envelope.

The greeting was stamped and then cut using one of the rectangular Stylish Shapes Dies.

Finally, I added some of the Real Red & White Adhesive-backed Peppermints to the card.

Tomorrow I have a card that I made for last week’s Global Design Project Theme Challenge.

Until then, happy stamping.
