STEP IT UP SUNDAY

I have three more cards today using the same products as yesterday, plus a few more to step the designs up.

Here is the first card.

For this card I added another DSP design. The DSP was cut into three panels and spread across a piece of Old Olive catdstock. Then I added a piece of the same DSP I used on yesterday’s cards.

Before adhering this piece of card to the front of the note card, I wrapped and secured a length of Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon around it.

The greeting was stamped in Petal Pink and then cut using one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

For this card, I used another one of the DSP designs and attached it to a piece of Old Olive cardstock.

A length of Old Olive ribbon, from the Twill Ribbon Combo Pack, was attached to the cardstock and a knot tied and trimmed.

I used one of large circle dies, from the Stylish Shaoes Dies, to cut a piece of DSP. It was popped up on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped and cut with another die from the same set.

Finally, I coloured some Iridescent Rhinestones with the Dark Old Olive Blends pen.

Here is the last card for today.

The Blackberry Bliss panel had banner cut out before it was embossed with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders.

I stamped the greeting onto a piece of DSP. Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to layer the embossed card up from the DSP. These layers were then adhered to the note card.

I cut some of the long banners, from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, to create the design across the top of the card.

I coloured some of the Iridescent Rhinestones with the Dark Old Olive Blends pen. The last thing I did was tie a tiny bow.

I really like the stitched detailing in the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Tomorrow is Monday and I will be back with a scrap layout to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

SATURDAY’S #simplestamping SHARE

This week I am teaming the Big Hooray Stamp Set with the Design a Daydream 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This DSP is one of the exclusive Host products in the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue. I will also use other products throughout the week for each of my projects.

BIG HOORAY PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH)
DESIGN A DAYDREAM 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) HOST DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

I have three #simplestamping cards to share with you today.

The first one is always super-simple! This one uses two stamps, two inkpads and a notecard and envelope.

This card uses the same products as before with a little extra stamping.

Now to add some of the Designer Series Paper and another colour.

The piece of DSP was mounted onto a slightly larger panel of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and then adhered to the notecard.

The greeting was stamped and trimmed to a rectangle. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals so that the greeting would sit up.

Tomorrow I will add a few more products and step the cards up a little more.

Until then, happy stamping.

IT IS ANOTHER FABULOUS FRIDAY FOR A FUN FOLD CARD

My card today was inspired by Dawn Olchefske. It is a Wiper Fun Fold card. I adjusted the measurements to create a 5-3/4″x 4-1/8″ card.

The Texture Chic 12″x 12″ Specilaty Designer Series Paper is complimented beatifully by the Distressed Gold 12″x 12″ Specialty Paper.

The card base measures 9-1/4″x 4-1/8″. I scored the base at 1-3/4″ and 3-1/2″ from the right hand side of the longer side. The 2″ wide strip of 9-1/4″ card was scored at the same places.

Each piece of DSP was cut to be 1/4″ smaller than the base panels.

Three shells were stamped onto the gold paper, using Staz On Jet Black ink. Then they were die cut.

I made a small wiper panel that works just like windscreen wipers when the card opens and closes.

When the card opens, the wiper pops up and two shells appear. The shell on the front panel is positoned to disguise the other two shells.

I also used the Amazing Thanks Dies to cut out the gold sentiment. The gold specialty paper had Adhesive Sheet added to it befor it was cut.

There is a Basic White panel on the back of the card for a personal message to be be written. This panel and the envelope were also stamped with the shell outline image.

This is such a versatile suite suitable for different occasions and seasons.

I will have a new collection of products to introduce to you tomorrow.

Until then, happy stamping.
