MAKING FUN FOLD CARDS IS ALWAYS FUN ON A FRIDAY

For today’s Friday Fun Fold card I decided to use the same colours that were from the #GDP337 Challenge this week.

The fun fold today is a waterfall card. I thought it would be perfect for the pot and cactus image sizes.

For the background I used the Stacked Stone Stamp and my Stamparatus. I used all three colours to stamp this image. After I stamped each colour, the stamp was cleaned and the Basic White panel moved slightly to fill the white spaces.

The next step was to create the waterfall mechanism. I cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock 8-3/4″x 2-1/2″ and scored it at 2-1/2″, 3″, 3-1/2″ and 4″

I cut four Blushing Bride 2-1/2″ squares and one rectangle measuring 4-1/2″x 2-1/2″. Then I cut four Basic White 2-3/8″ squares and one rectangle 4-3/8″x 3-7/8″.

I stamped a variety of pot and cactus images to adhere to the Blushing Bride squares.

To add these squares to the waterfall mechanism, I added strips of Tear & Tape to each of the 1/2″ scored spaces.

The rectangular stamped piece was added last.

The bottom section of the ‘just a note’ square was glued to a 1″ strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. To fix the mechanism in place, I added Stampin’ Seal+ to the Soft Sea Foam strip either side of the Blushing Bride squares.

During my Facebook Live today (07/04/22), I made another waterfall card.

Tomorrow is #simplestamping – I hope that you can join me.

Until then, happy stamping.
