Today’s post is much later than usual – oops. Over the next several days, I plan to make a range of different projects featuring the stunning Hand Penned Suite. These projects will be all about showcasing these gorgeous new products.
The star of this card is the Hand Penned 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. After cutting the DSP for the card front, I cut lengths of the Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and positioned them in parallel bands across the patterned paper.
The sentiment was stamped in Soft Succulent and cut using, my new favourite dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies. I cut two more using Fresh Freesia nd Soft Succulent cardstock. The tags were adhered together and layered. I added the circular reinforcement before threading through a length of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and securing it with a tied bow using the White Twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.
I used Mini Glue Dots to attach the Loose Flower Flourishes to the card front. These floral flourishes are so pretty and I’m looking forward to using them more in other projects.
The stitching detail on the tags is lovely. I love all my stitched dies. It is so easy to create a gorgeous card when the products available do all the ‘heavy lifting’.
