My project for each weekly Global Design Project would normally be posted each Wednesday. I created it on Wednesday but can post it today.
This week’s #GDP347 is a Theme Challenge. So I went in search of some leaves that I could use with the Lovely in Linen Suite products, which are my featured products for the week.
Along with the Lovely in Linen 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper, I decided to use the Twigs & Brigs Dies and Embossing Folder as well.
I started with an Evening Evergreen card base and a piece of Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent DSP.
My next step was to use the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White layer, which was popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
After this, I embossed and die cut the leaves to use on the front of the card. They had dimensionals added before positioning them over their corresponding leaf on the Basic White embossed layer. Some of the leaves were then trimmed back to the edges of the card.
The leaf textures created by these new products are amazingly diverse.
I’m not so sure why I added the Lasting Label Punch to the product image and omitted the Opal Rounds. Oops.
