PAPER ANGELS

I met many wonderful demonstrators at the Paper Angels Team Day. I had planned to post this on Sunday, but it has taken me a bit of time to figure out why the photos weren’t loading – the problem is now fixed.

Anna Wheaton and Bec Ross put together a great day of presentations and make and take sessions. There were lots of ideas and tips shared. We even had PRIZE PATROLS!

I’m sure everyone had an amazing day, just as I did. The product and project displays were inspirational – lots of photos were taken,

At the end of the day, I left with eight make and take projects, some give away goodies and many new Stampin’ Up! friends.

We also received a bundle of swaps.

For my post today, I thought I’d share the swaps I received rather than anything of my own.

I have the names of most of the wonderful women whose swaps I received (if you know the names of the couple that I did not have, please let me know).

Louise also shared the embossing tool she created for this card.

As you can see, I have been fortunate enough to have a collection of great projects, ideas and samples that I can share with others.

MEETING NEW DEMONSTRATORS

I have been invited to attend the Paper Angels Team Day today, in Brisbane.

The invitation was a lovely surprise from Bec Ross, who I met through the 2018/2019 QLD/NZ Demonstrator Council, of which we were both members.

As I’m relatively new to Brisbane and have not had any connection with other demonstrators, as yet, I am so excited to attend and meet new demonstrators.

I decided to participate in the card and 3D swap that will happen.

My card uses the Power of Hope Bundle and is a card I recently posted.

My 3D project was inspired by Julie Demattio (the Paper Pixie). Her mini milk carton gift box is soooooooo cute.

When I found a packet of Lindt Bugs and Bees chocolates, I knew what I wanted to pop into that small gift box.

The Honey Bee Stamp Set, Detailed Bees Dies, Little Ladybug Stamp Set and Golden Honey Specialty DSP were perfect for this project.

So, 10 cards and 10 Bugs & Bees Boxes later, I am ready to swap with lots of lovely new Stampin’ Up! friends.

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping.

FRANGIPANIS

Chocolate wasn’t the only thing I bought on Monday to make a gift box for. I found some very fragrant soaps.

I chose a lemongrass and lemon myrtle soap for myself and a frangipani and evening primrose soap as a house guest gift.

When I saw the frangipani soap, I knew it would coordinate perfectly with the TROPICAL OASIS SUITE.

The gift box was decorated with panels cut from one of the TROPICAL OASIS DSP sheets and I used one of the floral stickers from the TROPICAL OASIS MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACK.

I stamped ‘TO: FROM:’ from the SO SENTIMENTAL STAMP SET and used the LABEL ME LOVELY and LABEL ME FANCY PUNCHES for the gift tag.

The lid was secured by attaching some DAFFODIL DELIGHT RUCHED RIBBON behind the gift tag.

I hope that our next guest enjoys their gift.

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping.
