BEAUTIFUL BOTANICAL PRINTS

Stampin’ Up! ® has three different types of card making kits to suit different crafting needs. There is great information in the catalogues that show and explain each type – ALL-INCLUSIVE, PROJECT and PRODUCT MEDLEY KITS.

For the card I am sharing today, I chose the BOTANICAL PRINTS PRODUCT MEDLEY:

There is so much in this kit and I can’t wait to keep creating with it all.

I was especially drawn to the use of black and white on the 6″ x 6″ DSP and wanted to focus on that, along with one colour choice, Terracotta Tile.

Here is what I made:

The six black triangular die cuts worked so well in framing the DSP and die cut, coloured floral elements.

mmm … I am really happy with this design.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A LITTLE BOX OF LOVE

I recently found a tutorial for this little gift box on Caroline Helwigh Wright’s page, Crafty Caroline Creates.

It is amazing how generous other crafters are, when they freely share ideas and instructions … so, thank you Caroline!

Using the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP and the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set resulted in this:

The box is a little under 2.25″ cubed.
The ribbon belly band slides off and the hinged lid opens easily.

I can imagine all sorts of goodies being popped in the box for a special occasion -chocolates and jewellery come to mind.

I’m looking forward to making more of these boxes and sharing them, with you, another day.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

PAPER ANGELS

I met many wonderful demonstrators at the Paper Angels Team Day. I had planned to post this on Sunday, but it has taken me a bit of time to figure out why the photos weren’t loading – the problem is now fixed.

Anna Wheaton and Bec Ross put together a great day of presentations and make and take sessions. There were lots of ideas and tips shared. We even had PRIZE PATROLS!

I’m sure everyone had an amazing day, just as I did. The product and project displays were inspirational – lots of photos were taken,

At the end of the day, I left with eight make and take projects, some give away goodies and many new Stampin’ Up! friends.

We also received a bundle of swaps.

For my post today, I thought I’d share the swaps I received rather than anything of my own.

I have the names of most of the wonderful women whose swaps I received (if you know the names of the couple that I did not have, please let me know).

Louise also shared the embossing tool she created for this card.

As you can see, I have been fortunate enough to have a collection of great projects, ideas and samples that I can share with others.
