JOINING ANOTHER BLOG HOP

Hello again to those who have popped by for another peek at my crafting progress. If you are new, welcome.

One of my goals in 2020, was to post on my website more regularly, aiming for every day. I came close. In 2021, want to improve on this and also use my other social media platforms more often as well.

Another key goal for 2021 is to participate in blog hops regularly. I have scheduled some blogs into my planner and have been enjoying this challenge.

I have added Kylie Bertucci’s monthly International Blog Highlights to my schedule.

May be an image of one or more people and text that says 'KYLIE BERTUCCI'S Monthly International Blog HIGHLIGHTS GALLERY'

The ongoing theme for this blog hop is THANK YOU. I really like this theme, while it might seem like the idea of thanking someone is unfashionable, it is alive and well and needs to be modelled for others. If I send someone a thank you card, that is a prompt for them to remember to thank others for what they appreciate.

This is the card I made for the February 2021 Blog Highlights – an image of my card is posted on Kylie’s gallery.

This gallery features everyone’s submissions and gives you the opportunity to vote for up to 5 of your favourite cards. The top 10 vote winners then get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

How to do Voting?
Once you click on the link below you can see the photos. Please look for my pretty Hydrangea card (#4) and click on the little heart sign on the right-hand top side of my photo. Once you’ve touched the little clear heart it will turn to Red Color and that is the notification that you voted. You can vote for up to five, but it’s not required, you can also just vote for one. Thanks so much!

I took the idea of adding extra vellum single flowers, from yesterday’s card, and amped it up for this one.

I cut lots of vellum flowers and also cut flowers from some of the DSP I chose for this card.

There wasn’t much stamping on this card but lots of lovely Stampin’ Up!® paper and colour.

The texture that was achieved by adding all of the individual flowers is even better than I hoped for. i used quite a few Mini Glue Dots getting these flowers attached.

That’s the last of the hydrangea cards for the moment. Onto different ideas and products.

Happy stamping.

If you live in Australia, you can order any of the products I used to make this card by going to my online store. Just click on any of the images below.

DAY 5 of the 12 DAYS FROM CHRISTMAS

On January 5th, you will be able to place an order for any of the amazing new products in the 2021 JANUARY -JUNE MINI CATALOGUE and SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE.

A quick reminder – if you do not have a copy of each of these catalogues, and you live in Australia, please make sure that you contact me so that I can get them to you.

Since Christmas Day, I have been sharing projects using some of these new products and some of the benefits of joining Stampin’ Up!®.

On my Stampin’ Up! website https://mmmstampintime.stampinup.net/ , I shared my story – here it is:

I joined Stampin Up in 2013 … let me tell you why …

As a, recently retired, Home Economics teacher I love trying different creative techniques using all types of materials. I have dabbled in all sorts of projects over the years, including scrapbooking but had never tried ‘cardmaking’.

I was invited by friends from work to join them for a Stampin’ Up! workshop to ‘make cards’. It was a turning point for me and I kept going. Our demonstrator inspired us to create and share wonderful projects, not just cards!

I had been enjoying these stamping classes so much and had learned so many amazing techniques and tips that I began to think that I might be able to share what I have learned, and enjoy so much, with others. So I joined Stampin Up as a demonstrator to do just that!

I was a part of the same stamp club for several years and continued to enjoy this time making projects together with this group of lovely ladies until my retirement from teaching and move from Bundaberg to Kangaroo Point [Brisbane].

What I didn’t share in this profile is my love of these coordinated, high quality products and the incredible support that Stampin’ Up! provides for its demonstrators.

Here is a short list of some of the benefits of being part of Stampin’ Up!

– being confident that the products you are buying for yourself, and potentially your customers, are high quality, coordinated products with Demonstrator Support if anything ever does not meet this standard;

– amazing online and other support for you from Demonstrator Support and heaps of information available to you on the demonstrator website;

– a Demonstrator Development Manager in your market (for me, it is Emma Parkin-Wilson);

– fantastic support when you first join, especially if you have decided to build success from the beginning. There are new onboarding resources and a Quickstart program with incentive rewards;

– there are ongoing online and face-to-face training opportunities;

– there is additional Leader training for those demonstrators who achieve a Silver Elite or above level;

there are event opportunities to attend – before COVID they were live events and during this year they have moved to an online platform;

– there are recognition and rewards for a wide range of achievements; and

– you could earn the Incentive Trip – in the past there have been cruises to Alaska and the Mediterranean.

I thought that I would share some photos from my three most recent On Stage Live events – these are three day events held in lots of different places. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other demonstrators and make amazing new friendships.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

I think the blog title says it all – today is my birthday. It is my 60 – 1 birthday, so I have twelve months to prepare for the BOG 6 0.

At my hairdresser’s appointment yesterday, I looked at the final result and realised that I am now VERY gray.

My daughters are joining Rob and I for a birthday lunch at Medley Cafe, a local restaurant for my birthday celebration.

So from today, and until Christmas day, I will not have any posts to share.

On Christmas Day, I will start my 12 DAYS FROM CHRISTMAS posts that lead into the 2021 JANUARY – JUNE MINI CATALOGUE & SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE live launch to customers.

I hope that you join me then for all the catalogue, free product and joining benefits.

In the meantime, I wish you and your family a peaceful Christmas with all the joy and blessings of the season.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
