NEW SALE-A-BRATION ITEMS

There are three new Sale-a-bration products available that will be released on February 16 … as a demonstrator I have already placed my pre-order and will be able to create and share some projects with you before the 16th.

A quick sneak peek for you…

  • there is a three pack of Metallic Glimmer Tape in gold, silver and white … this tape looks awesome … love a bit of sparkle!!
  • Party Pants Stamp Set in wood or clear mount – coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet punch – I love it when our products coordinate because it means we can get so much more use out of them!
  • Pedal Pusher Stamp Set in photopolymer … a very cool bicycle for two and with the bread and wine and little hearts stamp, I can’t wait to make my husband’s Valentine’s Day card.

OCCASIONS CATALOGUE LAUNCH

I am pleased that I scheduled this event for today … after two weeks back at school (one without/one with students), I was definitely ready for a day dedicated to stamping and creating!

The night before, I made one final card for my display table.

It was the first time I had ‘played’ with the Bear Hugs stamp set and framelits dies … I had wondered if I could use the framelit to create a bear version of ‘paper dolls’ that I made when I was a child and made with my daughters … here is the end result!

I was up early this morning to set up for a 10am ‘start’ …

I am lucky to have a large space to use for workshops – view from display table through to our working area … my craft room to the right.

These are all the cards and boxes I made during the Christmas holidays … lots of catalogue casing and a few originals …

It was a great day of stamping – two cards, a 3×3 card and five gift tags … although it was very hot and steamy!!

CALENDAR UPDATE …

 

I have just finished adding details for my Stampin’ Time classes for the first six months of 2016 … most months will feature a class based around a stamp set from the Occasions catalogue.

The class will usually be offered twice … on the second and fourth Sunday … unless there are holidays or other life events, including:

… one date change (from the 14th February to the 21st).

Details of the stamp sets and pricing for each month are now available on my calendar (What’s On page) and the sidebar.

I am very excited that the Occasions catalogue event is only a fortnight away and I have been having a wonderful time working my way through both the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues CASeing many of the projects the amazing SU design team created to show us some of the great ways to use all of these new goodies …

Here is a recent reinvention of a project from p25 of Occasions – I have not ordered the Pyramid Pals bundle yet but have the Starburst Sayings stamp set … so … this is how I was inspired by one idea to create a card variation … and, the leaves thinlit from Rose Garden is going to be very handy!
