SOURCES OF INSPIRATION

Hello – thank you for popping by. I really appreciate the time you take to see what I have been creating.

Today is the end of the creativity period for the #CI96 Colour Inkspiration Challenge.

No photo description available.

The colours in this challenge are so, so pretty.

May be an image of flower and text

For this challenge I decided to use Dena Rekow’s 1000000 Pretty Perennials Stamp Set and coordinating Perennial Petals Dies. I have loved using this bundle so many times and now it is one of the retiring bundles.

PRETTY PERENNIALS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

I decided to use the, soon to retire, Frost White Shimmer Paint to pearlise pieces of Petal Pink, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green card stock.

Then I used the dies to cut lots and lots of flowers and leaves.

I am pleased that the Friends are Like Seashells Stamp Set is carrying over into the new catalogue.

Now for card #2.

For the second card I used the – soon to retire – Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder to create texture on a strip of pearlised card stock.

Yay, the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set is also carrying over!

It was fun making a second card that was stepped up a little. Now it’s time to start to plan another project.

Happy stamping.

ANOTHER HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hello! I am so delighted that you chose to pop by and take a peek at today’s project.

If you have been checking out my posts, over the past few days, you know that I have been focusing on the Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms DSP as well as the PRETTY PERENNIALS BUNDLE from the JANUARY – JUNE MINI CATALOGUE.

I don’t think that you can have too many birthday cards in your stash – so, here is another one.

And, it was time to make another fun fold card.

I am going to miss the 2019-2021 IN COLOURS when they are retired in May. Seaside Spray has been a definite favourite. And, Rococo Rose … and, Terracotta Tile. Fortunately, I still have a few months to play with them.

I like the way this card opens to reveal itself.

And, on the inside a small sweet space to write something wonderful to the birthday recipient.

Now it is time to move on to some other new JANUARY-JUNE MINI CATALOGUE products. I hope you like what is yet to come.

Happy stamping.

ROCOCO ROSE

Hello to each and everyone one of you. Thank you for popping by to see today’s project.

No PAPER BLOOMS DSP today, but I am still using the PRETTY PERENNIALS BUNDLE. I wanted to make a simpler style of card that features these die cut flower outlines. I made sure that I used ADHESIVE SHEETS before cutting the flowers – and. I cut lots of them!

I placed them onto a panel slightly smaller than the card front.

As you can see, I used the same birthday greeting and die as I have recently.

I coloured some PEARL BASIC JEWELS using a Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blend.

I plan to make this card again using Basic White.

What do you think? What other colour would you use?

Happy stamping.
