Playing with Patterns

I was unpacking one last box of crafting bits and bobs and found a card that I made years ago … and, I don’t think that I have made one since … until now!

For this ‘remake’, I used the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS DSP and RESIN DOTS.

The HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS STAMP SET is amazing! There are four birthday greetings to choose from.

I also used my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend to colour the Braided Linen Trim.

Lots of colour … lots of dots … happy birthday!

On the reverse side of the card upright there is a place for a personalised message to be written.

The card looks like this well folded down, ready to pop into an envelope.

PLAYING WITH PATTERNS

The PLAYING WITH PATTERNS SUITE is a burst of patterns and vivid colours, perfect for any occasion you want to celebrate.

The SUITE includes a stamp set, coordinating dies, resin dots and 6″x 6″ coordinating DSP.

I made this gift box using this suite and its coordinating colours.

I also used the LOVELY LABELS PICK A PUNCH and ribbon from the FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON RIBBON COMBO PACK.

This is a 4″x 4″x 4″ gift box – ready to be filled with a delicious collection of goodies.

The ribbon is from the FLOWERS FOR EVERY REASON RIBBON COMBO PACK.

For the banner, I used the LOVELY LABELS PICK A PUNCH, after stamping the sentiment three times.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

I wanted to make a gift box to go with the card I shared yesterday.

Although it won’t fit the Dr Seuss book it will hold lots of treats to enjoy while reading lots of books.

The WHALE OF A TIME 6″X 6″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is so, so cute.

This box has a top and bottom using the swimming fish paper. The combination of colours in this paper are so vibrant.

The finished dimensions are 3″x 3″x 4″.

One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up!® products is the way they coordinate. I was able to use the resin dots and ribbon combo from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS SUITE with the WHALE OF A TIME DSP.
