FRESHLY BREWED PROJECTS CUTE CHRISTMAS

This week we look forward to sharing some cute Christmas projects with you.

I decided to use Penguin Place and Holly Jolly Stamp Sets with the Whimsy & Wonder 12″x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and added the trees and stars DSP for my midnight sky. Then I cut the sloping layered hills using a die from the Inspiring Canopy Dies. Each of these layers were popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the tree, I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of the pink DSP before cutting this tree from the Christmas Tree Dies. I peeled away the backing paper and postioned the tree on the left hand side.

The penguin was stamped and punched using the Penguin Builder Punch. Then I stamped his scarf and beanie using the Polished Pink Stampin’ Write Marker ™ to colour the images. I used the pen end of the marker to draw around the outline of the scarf.

The greeting was stamped using Misty Moonlight ink and trimmed down before it was tucked in under the front sloping layer.

The same greeting was stamped inside the card and on the envelope. I used some of the pink and white twine that was left over from my Love, Santa Tag Kit to wrap around the top of the card and then tied a bow.

Finally, I added some of the 2021 – 2023 In Colour Jewels.

Make sure you pop across and see the other cute Christmas projects from the Freshly Brewed team.

I hope that these projects have inspired you to create something cute and, perhaps, non-traditional Christmas cards this year.

Until next time, happy stamping.

BE COOL THIS CHRISTMAS

Hello! Thanks for popping by. If this is your first visit please leave me a comment to say where you’re from.

Today I have a very cute shaker card to share with you.

I started by cutting the space for the Cloche Shaker Dome from a piece of Penguin Playmates 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The die is from the Cloche Dies set. Then I wrapped and tied the lengths of Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon.

I positioned this DSP layer over a piece of Basic White card and traced the shape of the cloche die cut space. Using a small piece of the spotted DSP I cut a dome shape and adhered it over the traced area. Then I stamped the hilly line from the Penguin Place Stamp Set, fussy cut along the stamped slope and glued it in place. I used Evening Evergreen to stamp the tree.

The Penguin Builder Punch was used to punch out the Fresh Freesia penguin. I used some of the Snowy White Velvet Sheet to punch out the peguin’s central area. The eyes were stamped using Jet Black StazOn, the scarf in Soft Succulent and the feet were punched from Misty Moonlight card.

The shaker dome was then attached to the DSP card front layer. Then I carefully placed some Subtle Shimmer Sequins in the centre of the dome area and peeled the backing from the dome and added Mutlipurpose Glue across the back to adhere these layers to the card base.

I stamped the sentiment several times before trimming then down into the smaller segments. They were popped up onto long, thin strips of Stampin’ Dimensionals cut from the edge of the sheet. It was fun to create a repeat of the sentiment – BE COOL – BE COOL . BE CHILL – BE CHILL . BE MERRY – BE COOL.

The same sentiment was stamped on the card insert and envelope. And, for the final tounch, I added some Fresh Freesia In Colour Gems to the card front.

These are most of the products I used for this project.

So, what do you think of my penguin shaker card? It was so much fun to make.

Until next time, happy stamping.

TIME FOR A SNEAK PEEK

Hello and welcome. Thanks for popping by for today’s blog hop.

It is Wednesday afternoon and that means it’s time for a Freshly Brewed Project Blog Hop.

This week’s theme is It’s a(nother) Sale-a-bration! So it’s time to share some of the fantastic FREEBIES from the Sale-a-bration Brochure. You only have August and September to place your qualifying orders – for each $90 you spend you can choose one of 9 different new products (or you can choose the one product that needs a $180 order).

I decided to use the Penguin Playmates 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. It coordinates with the Penguin Place Bundle from the Annual Catalogue.

I used a Misty Moonlight card base and stamped the stars and spots image on areas of the card front. Then I cut three 1-1/2″ strips of the DSP. One side of the paper has different penguin, fox and polar bear designs and the other side has coordinating geometric designs. I used the Triple Banner Punch to cut a banner end on two of the strips. These were then positioned evenly on the card front.

Then I fussy cut some of the cute pengions from the DSP and popped them across the card front. And, they look like they’re having fun.

The greeting is from the Penguin Place Stamp Set and it was cut using the long, thin stitched rectangle die from the Suit & Tie Dies set. I stamped the balloon and streamer in Just Jade on the card insert and envelope. LAst, but not least, I added some of the 2020 – 2022 In Colour Square Gems.

I can’t believe that I forgot to place the Penguin Place Stamp Set in the photo of the products I used.

I can’t wait to see what the other Freshly Brewed Project team members share. Make sure that you swing by and see what Sale-a-bration products they have used and what they have made.

What do you think of these projects? Which Sale-a-bration product will be on your wishlist?

UNtil tomorrow, happy stamping.
