FINALLY IT IS FUN FOLD FRIDAY

Today’s card was inspired by a recent Youtube post by Tracy McDonnell from the Papercraft Studio. Thank you Tracy.

As you can see, I have used quite a few of the Neutrals Matte Dots this week.

I stayed true to my Botanical Texture DSP theme this week.

This is a swing fold card and the Memorable Blooms Bundle was perfect for it – it is also the bundle Tracy used for her card.

Using Adhesive Sheets was the perfect way to attach the detailed floral die cut.

After pulling out the swing fold you find a large area to write a message to the recipient.

The sentiment was stamped and cut using one of the Meant to Bee Dies. I cut the hexagon in half and cut a Smoky Slate hexagon in half. These were overlaid and glued before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals.

The coordinating floral stamp was used on the back of the envelope.

A couple of Neutrals Matte Dots were then added to the card front.

Next week I’ll have something new for you.

Until then, happy stamping.

THE FINAL FOUR MONOCHROMATIC CARDS IN THE DSP SERIES

Here are the final four cards I made to feature each of the 12 designs from the Botanical Textures DEsigner Series Paper.

It has been an interesting creative challenge to use each of the 12 paper designs to make 12 different cards.

For this card I cut a Basic White panel using one of the dies from the Grow with Love Dies.

I cut the black stem with one of the Memorable Blooms Dies. There was Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Basic Black card making it so easy to attach the stem to the card.

The same greeting panel was used again and I added more of the black dots to the card front.

Finally, I tied a small bow using the white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack. The bow was attached with a Mini Glue Dot.

For this card I hand tore a wedge from the DSP, exposing the white ‘centre’ of the paper.

After glueing the DSP onto the Basic Black panel, I coloured a length of white baker’s twine using the Dark Smoky Slate Blends Pen. The twine was wrapped around the panel and tied off.

I used the largest banner die, from the Stylish Shapes Dies, to cut the DSP into four horizontal banners.

After they were adhered to the Basic Black layer I wrapped a length of White Woven Ribbon around the panel and tied a bow. I popped a Mini Glue Dop under the bow to secure it.

The Grow with Love Die was used to cut the panel in the centre of the DSP.

I took a length of white twine and untwisted it to create single threads that were then looped around the back of the greeting panel.

I used the Neutrals Matte Dots again for this card.

All 12 cards had strips of the same DSP attached to the card insert and back of the envelope.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

TIME FOR SOME MORE MONOCHROMATIC CARDS

Today I am sharing four more cards using the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper.

For this card I used the Dark Basic Black Blends Pen to colour a length of White Ribbon. I wrapped it around the DSP panel and then tied a secon, shorter coloured length of ribbon

All the cards, in this series, have the same rectangular greeting.

This card also has some of the Neutral Matte Dots.

For this card I folded back the top right corner and created a pocket for a greeting tag.

To make the tag I used one of the dies from the Grow with Love Dies.

For this card I used two circles, from the Stylish Shapes Dies, to cut the DSP panel.

The cut DSP pieces was lifted up using lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I was able to pop the white dots in the black space between the circles.

This super simple card was made by adding a strip of the other side of the main DSP.

And, of course, the same greeting and Neutral Matte Dots.

As with yesterday’s cards, each of today’s cards have a strip of the main DSP adhered to the card insert and the back of the envelope.

Tomorrow, I have the last four DSP designs to share with you.
