SWITCHING TECHNIQUE

Hello – thanks for popping by.

Today I am showcasing some cards I made on one of my recent Facebook Live presentations. You can find it on my mmmstampintime Facebook page. It is in two parts because I had some streaming issues (it was Wednesday January 20).

I used the CORNER BOUQUET STAMP SET. As I was watching Emma Goddard’s Live, a few days earlier, I began to formulate this card in my mind. I made the first two cards as my samples before my Live presentations.

Until I can find the right term for the technique I used, I’ll simply call it a switching technique. I placed a 3-1/2″x 5″ piece of Basic White card stock onto my STAMPARATUS and positioned the floral stamp in the corner.

For the first panel I stamped the image using Garden Green.

Then I replaced it with a second piece of card stock, in exactly the same position. This time I coloured directly onto the stamp using my Stampin’ Write Markers™ – Garden Green, Mango Melody and Real Red. I applied each colour in turn and was able to reapply the ink if it needed more colour.

The next step was to cut the card stock using the third largest, of the eight, STITCHED RECTANGLE DIE. For the second piece of card stock I used the outer remnant from the first piece of card stock to ensure the second cut was in the same position.

The next step was to position the third smallest, of the eight, to cut the inner rectangle. To ensure the second inner rectagle is in the precise position I overlaid the outer frame from the first outer frame. (If you have no idea what I’m trying to explain watch the second part of the Facebook Live).

SAMPLE CARD

Here comes the switching. My first card has the coloured frame adhered to a piece of Garden Green card and then popped the all Garden Green stamped image inside the frame, lifted with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

And, this is the second card.

SAMPLE CARD

I coloured and stamped the flowers so that I could fussy cut them before lifting them with small pieces of dimensionals.

For the sentiments, I was able to use some of the leftover MANY MESSAGES greetings that I had from an earlier project. The MANY MESSAGES BUNDLE is a fantastic way to have prestamped and die cut greetings on hand.

I stamped the small, individual floral image inside the card three times using Real Red. When I am restocked with Basic White C6 envelopes, I will do the same on the front of them.

ONE OF THE TWO CARDS I MADE LIVE

For my Live I chose a different colour palette – Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody.

The sentiment comes from the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS STAMP SET and is cut using one of the POTTED SUCCULENTS DIES.

Which colour combo do you prefer?

Happy stamping.

MANY MESSAGES

A few days ago I posted a number of 3″x 3″ gift cards using the BERRY DELIGHTFUL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER (157613 SAB) and the MANY MESSAGES BUNDLE (156272).

I only used 15 of the 51 greetings that I die cut from the MANY MESSAGES STAMP SET.

I wanted to make a card that showcases the 5 of new 6″x 6″ DSP stacks that will be released in the 2021 ANNUAL CATALOGUE mid year.

These paper bundles are a FREE gift for those who join Stampin’ Up! ® during Sale-a-bration. Existing demonstrators were able to order them during December. I made sure that I ordered them, so that I share projects with you between now and the June.

There are four designs for each colour. If you have a copy of the Sale-a-bration brochure, you can see the range of new DSP on page 18.

I also used the new TREASURED TAGS PICK A PUNCH (154425).

Did you notice the cute little CLEVER CLASP (154564) I used?

I also dusted off my TALORED TAG PUNCH.

What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, I would like to help you place your order.

DAY 10 of the 12 DAYS FROM CHRISTMAS

Only two more sleeps until the 2021 JANUARY – JUNE MINI CATALOGUE and SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE go live to customers around the world. I hope that, if you live in Australia, you will choose me to help you place your orders.

Today, I have a collection of super cute 3″x 3″ gift cards to share with you.

I chose to use the BERRY DELIGHTFUL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER for these gift cards (a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration Brochure – it is in a bundle with the BERRY BLESSING STAMP SET for a qualifying order of $180).

Next, I chose to make the card bases using Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.

For the greetings, I used the MANY MESSAGES BUNDLE. The MANY MESSAGES STAMP is that – just ONE stamp. It has 19 greetings and 4 images. BEST OF ALL, the coordinating single die cuts all 23 images out in one pass of the STAMPIN’ CUT & EMBOSS MACHINE.

I used my STAMPARATUS to stamp the multiple greeting stamp three times – each in a different colour.

A tip for using the dies – align the heart and three stars to ensure that all the greeting shapes are in right place.

For the cards, I very simply glued a piece of DSP onto the card base and chose a coordinating greeting. Each greeting was attached to the gift card front, using dimensionals.

One hour later, I have 15 gift cards and 42 greetings left over for future cards. The variety of greetings, included in this stamp, is perfect for so many different occasions.

Yesterday, I shared some more detailed information about what you can choose to do after you join Stampin’ Up!® if you want to continue to be ACTIVE and receive an ongoing 20% product discount. You might want to be involved in the QUICK START PROGRAM.

As a new demonstrator, you begin at the BRONZE title level. To stay active, you need to keep meeting the 300CSV Quarterly minimum.

As your sales increase, so does your title. and the % discount you earn.

To promote to BRONZE ELITE, your quarterly minimum needs to be 450 CSV (approximately $700 per quarter in sales). This equates to 150 CSV per month (approxiamtely $235 per month in sales).

At BRONZE ELITE, you move to 25% discount of your demonstrator orders. When you have customer or workshop orders, you will earn 25% of the sale as income (excluding postage).

There are 6 more title levels, each with CSV and team recruitment requirements to be achieved and maintained. Each title level has benefits and REWARDS.

When you join my team, I look forward to sharing all this with you in our training sessions and working with you as YOU decide what you want to achieve.

A key benefit of joining Stampin’ Up! is the potential to earn an income.

Beyond the Bronze level 20% discount that many demonstrators enjoy to make their hobby less costly, there are many demonstrators who go on to build highly successful businesses, where they earn an income that contributes to their family income.

It doesn’t take too much Googling to find the 1000000 CSV demonstrator achievers. Some have achieved this in less than 10 years, while others have achieved this over a longer period of time. There is no one ‘right way’ to be a demonstrator – you make all the choices.

Whether your goal is to offset the cost of your hobby or earn an income – IT IS POSSIBLE and IT IS UP TO YOU and I would like to be the person who helps you.

Please reach out if you have any questions or want to chat, I am just an email or phone call away.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
