Today’s card combines dry embossing and colouring techniques.
Using the Delightful Doily Hrbrid Embossing Folder, I used a panel of White Vellum to create a beautifully textured layer to place over the Calypso Coral card base.
TIP: To adhere this embossed panel, to the card front, I used Mini Glue Dots. I positoined them behind some of the circular floral centres.

The large magnolia image was stamped, coloured and die cut. Before placing it on the card front, I painted it with Clear Wink of Stella.
I used my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend to colour a length of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.
TIP: You don’t always need to stamp an image outline in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. For this image I stamped the flower in Pecan Pie.
The ribbon was then wrapped under the flower and secured with Stampin’ Seal.

The birthday greeting, from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set, was stamped using Calypso Coral. Then the greeting was trimmed down and added to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
TIP: Use the same Stampin’ Blend to colour a number of Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins.
The coloured sequins were then added to the card.
The magnolia bud was stamped on the card insert and the back of the envelope.

Tomorrow I have a wonderful decor piece to share.
Until then, happy stamping.
