CHRISTMAS TREAT CONE

One of the 3D swaps I received, at a Paper Angels’ Team Training event this year, was gorgeous treat cone. I would love to acknowledge the wonderful demonstrator who shared it but I do not have her name – if you know, please let me know so that I can give her a shout out.

I gently undid her swap so that I could recreate it, using some BRIGHTLY GLEAMING SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIRES PAPER.

This could make a great hanging tree ornament filled with all sorts of Christmas goodies – or it could hold a small but very special Christmas gift.

I love the combination of Night of Navy and Copper Foil. Santa’s hat was stamped in Night of Navy and I used some of the FROST WHITE SHIMMER PAINT to create a furry texture.

Now I need to make a few more so the tree won’t be too bare.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A PRETTY PINK BIRTHDAY CARD

When I started on this card I wasn’t quite sure where it would go.

I wanted to use the STITCHED TRIANGLES DIES to cut triangles from some DSP – I chose to use one of the designs from the FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON DSP, as well as coordinating cardstock – Bumblebee, Magenta Madness and Poppy Parade.

There were lots of possibilities but this is what I decided in the end – a number of DSP and cardstock hexagons. Then I die cut several dandelions using the SWEET SILHOUETTE DIES for the centre of one hexagon.

The Whisper White layer was embossed using the SCRIPTY 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER.

Finally, some ribbon and enamel dots completes the project.

Despite my very sticky fingers, this card was so much fun to make!

What do you think?

A LITTLE TREAT

I bought some individually wrapped sweets the other day and wanted to make some goodies bags to give as little treats.

Their colours were such a close to match to DAFFODIL DELIGHT, MELON MAMBO and PUMPKIN PIE.

I knew that the dies from HIPPO & FRIENDS would be perfect for a cellophane bag topper!

This project was super quick and easy.

I used the LITTLE TREATS STAMP SET and LITTLE TREATS BOX DIES. The LAYERING CIRCLES DIES coordinate perfectly.

This would make a great birthday party treat.
