IT’S MONDAY & THAT MEANS IT IS TIME TO INTRODUCE A NEW PRODUCT SUITE

It is always fun to start a new week with a new collection of Stampin’ Up!® products.

This week I will share projects made using the new Friends of the ocean Suite Collection from the January – April Mini Catalogue.

I love the bold and brilliant colours that have been used in this collection.

My first project is my interpretation of one of the cards from the catalogue. Catalogues are a great place to seek creative inspiration.

I’m sure that you will easily identify the card I have CASEd.

Rather than landscape I chose a portrait layout and slightly adjusted some of the other elements.

I started with a Pumpkin Pie card base before attaching a Basic White panel to the card fornt.

Then I used the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to a piece of Basic White Thick card.

I stamped the water bubbles in the top section of the card front using Summer Splash ink.

To add colour to this embossed panel I used a Blending Brush and some Pumpkin Pie ink. The blending brush allowed me to add the colour with varied intenity. Then I adhered the panel to the bottom section of the card.

I cut the seahorse, jellyfish, coral and seaweed elements and adhered them above the embossed panel. The little starfish was added to the embossed layer.

After stamping the greeting, onto a strip of Basic White card, I used the wavy die to cut the greeting layer. Then I popped it up on the card using Stampn’ Dimensionals.

The card insert and back of the envelope had more of the little starfish shapes added to them.

Finally, I added some of the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots to the card.

Tomorrow I have another card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

MY FINAL FRUIT SALAD CARD FOR THE WEEK

For this card I decided to combine the Everyday Arches Bundle with the Fruit Salad DSP.

I chose a Granny Apple Green card base and then cut the largest of the Everyday Arches dies in Basic White card.

The arched greeting was carefully positioned to fit the large arch. It was stamped in Granny Apple Green.

Then I cut 5 arches, each in a different design of the DSP.

They were layered and adhered together before I added it to the Basic White arch.

After fussy cutting some of the fruit, from the DSP, I attached them to the layered arches using glue and dimensionals.

I added a strip of the DSP to the card insert and the back of the envelope.

Finally, I coloured some of this week’s sequins using both Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends pens. They were added to the card front in pairs.

Monday I will have some new projects to share with you.Until then, happy stamping.

A GIFT BOX DESIGNED TO HOLD THREE ROLLS OF FRUIT FLAVOURED MENTOS

After measuring the three Mentos rolls, I designed this gift box.

I checked my measurements and then cut the box from an A4 piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.

Before assembling the box I cut panels of DSP and adhered them to the box base.

I enjoy taking care to match panels around the box.

Then I assembled the box.

The turn down box flap was secured with a length of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon that had been coloured with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

The ribbon was secured to the base of the gift box using a Mini Glue Dot. It was then tied in a bow at front of the box.

The greeting was stamped and heat embossed, with white embossing powder, then punched out and adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I coloured some of the sequins, from the Trio pack, using the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends pen and added them to the front of the box.

Tomorrow I have Fun Fold card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
