Today I want to share another card using the Hand Penned Suite. There are going to be endless possibilities with this suite – and, I look forward to exploring all of them.
This time I decided to throw the Scalloped Contours Dies into the mix. And the DSP, stamp set, dies, ribbon and gems are doing all the work. I stamped and cut one greeting for the card front. I also used the scalloped edge die from the Penned Flowers Dies.
The Pale Papaya layer was cut using one of the Scalloped Contour Dies. I was able to cut it one scallop longer than the original die. The dies are a perfect size for the North American market and their card sizes,; however, in other markets use A4 card stock. I love that I can so easily make most of our dies longer/shorter/wider/narrower. And, I love sharing this in my classes, so that everyone can see how versatile these products are. Likewise, I was able to make the greeting shape smaller.
The Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon ties beautifully into a bow. The final touch was to add some Genial Gems to the card front. This is more proof that all the hard work can be left to these amazing products.
I like this sentiment – ‘feel better friend’. It is a caring message to send to someone special when they need it most.
