I have been enjoying playing with the new 2021 – 2023 In Colours – Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya.

I found this image online but do not know who to thank.

This card features the Soft Succulent cardstock for the base.

I love that I can use dies from other sets to compliment a project. For this card I used the oval label dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies and the rectangular shape from the new Beautiful Trees Dies. I used the oval labels to cut the striped and floral paper from the Hand-Penned DSP.

I tied a bow before wrapping the end of the ribbon around the right hand panel and secured it with Teat and Tape – it took a bit of planning to position the bow in the right place. Then I glued that panel down. I then wrapped the left hand end of the ribbon the left panel, secured it and glued it down. The centre panel was popped up, using Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed in the centre.

The Genial Gems added that lovely little bit of bling to the card. The sentiment is from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and you can see how perfect the die from the Beautiful Trees Dies is for cutting out ‘congratulations’. I added strips of the striped paper to the card insert and the envelope. Who would you send a congratulations card to? What are you congratulating them for?

Happy stamping.

OMBRE GIFT BAG

Hello and welcome! Thank you for popping by to see what I have been creating.

Today I want to share another project using the Hand Penned Suite. This is a gift bag project using the gorgeous new Ombre Gift Bags that come in the five new 2021-2023 In Colours – Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. The bag I chose for this project was a Pale Papaya gift bag.

I stamped a floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set onto the front of the bag. Then I wrapped some Soft Succulent Sheer Ribbon around the base of the bag and ties a bow. The ribbon was secured on the back of the bag with some Stampin’ Seal adhesive.

I cut a 2″ strip of Pale Papaya cardstock and then a 1-1/2″ and 1″ strips of Hand Penned DSP before Iused the Banner Triple Punch to create the tags for the front of the gift bag. The layered banners were attached to the gift bag using some adhesive and a Clever Clasp. The ‘Thanks’ sentiment, from the Hand=Penned Petals Stamp Set, was stamped onto another small piece of the DSP before being adhered to the front of the layered tags. Finally, I added a few Genial Gems for that little touch of bling.

This gift bag is perfect for all manner of treats to give to someone special. What would you pop inside the gift bag? Who would you give it to?

Happy stamping.

PENNED WITH THANKS

Hello and welcome! Thank you for popping by to see what I have been creating.

It is great to know that you do not need to be the mosr amazing designer to create gorgeous cards. I love that the products from Stampin’ Up!® are curated and coordinating works of art that can so easily be arranged to result in stunning projects.

The Hand Penned Designer Series Paper is some of the prettiest papers I have seen from Stampin’ Up!®. I find that when I can use such gorgeous paper, I don’t need to do much more. A simple sentiment stamp, some die cutting, a length of ribbon and some coloured Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I stamped the outline of this flower twice and then stamped again using the infill stamps. After die cutting them, I glued one directly onto the card fornt anf offest the second using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I stamped and coloured the card insert and envelope. I find these pastel colour shades so sweet – this a palette my grandmother would have loved.

Happy stamping.
