A CUTE 3D PROJECT FOR A THANK YOU GIFT

Today I have a little gift box to share. I bought a small Geranium & Rosewood scented bath oil as a thank you gift.

The box measures 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″x 3″ (excluding the front and back flaps).

The banner die was threaded over the front and back flaps so that I could cut these single scallop ends. I repeated this with a piece of the Designer Series Paper.

The main colours used are Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet from the new 2022 2024 In Colours.

The branches were cut from a small piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and attached to the back flap.

The sentiment was stamped, cut and attached to the front flap. The Polished Dots were coloured with one of the Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends.

Finally, a #tammybow was added to the front of the gift box.

I always enjoy the time I spend making 3D projects. Now I have another small thank you gift in my cupboard ready to give.

Tomorrow is Fun Fold Friday.

Until then, happy stamping.

A CUSTOM GIFT BOX FOR A FRECKLE MILK CHOCOLATE BUNNY

For today’s 3D Thursday project I made a custom gift box for a gorgeous freckle covered milk chocolate bunny. To be honest, the box it came in was very abergare.

The Easter Friends Stamp Set is the set I chose to use – it is another stand alone set.

The finished box measures 5-3/4″x 4-1/2″x 5/8″.

I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the box.

The front Basic White panel was stamped with the bunny and grass images. I used the Flirty Flamino and Basic Gray Water Colour Pencils to lightly shade areas of the bunny. A Blender Pen was used to lightly blend the colour.

The sentiment was stamped on the panel as well. A simple bow was tied from a length of Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon. This ribbon is from the New Horizons Suite.

Finally, I coloured some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blend.

Isn’t the chocolate freckle bunny so cute.

I will make another gift box durin my Facebook Live so that I will have a second Easter bunny gift box – one for each of my daughters.

Tomorrow I have a fun fold card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

3D THURSDAY – TIME TO MAKE A GIFT BOX

I really enjoy making 3D projects, especially gift boxes.

Today’s gift box is designed to hold 6 notecards and envelopes. It is also a’flat fold’ gift box. Let me show you what I mean.

This gift box holds the 6 notecards and envelopes that I shared last Saturday and Sunday.

The box has been made using the same Designer Series Paper and coordinating cardstock. It is a ‘flat fold’ box because no adhesive has been used to create a permanent 3D box structure. Once the Evening Evergreen OPen Weave Ribbon bow is untied, the box opens out completely.

There is enough space to position the notecards and envelopes, as you can see. The ‘side flaps’ of the front panel tuck in behind the cards. You could adhere these into position to make a more premanent construction.

For this project, I only added DSP panels to the central panels of the box. As you can see, I have ensured that the continuity of the design wraps continuously through the box panels.

Before I adhered the front DSP piece, I secured a length of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon so that it could be tied in a bow the hold the front flap down.

3D projects don’t always need ahuge number of products to createthe finished result.

Tomorrow is Fun Fold Friday and I’m not sure what I will create yet. Thank goodness for 24 hours!

UNtil tomorrow, happy stamping.
