MORE MONOGRAMS

For this project, I wanted to make a gift box. I bought my daughters a new foundation brush each and thought that I would pop them into little gift boxes.

The MONOGRAM MESSAGES stamps, that I used for my #scrappystripstechnique card yesterday, were perfect.

I used the DRYBRUSH BACKGROUND STAMP. It was stamped using Terracotta Tile to match the colour of the fine ‘bristles’ of the brush.

The MANY LAYERED BLOSSOMS DIES gave me these gorgeous Pretty Peacock flowers to add a touch of femininity. As did the ELEGANT FACETED GEMS and BRAIDED LINEN bow.

I hope my girls are happy with their little gift.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

POSTED FOR YOU

Today I did a Facebook Live featuring the new POSTED FOR YOU BUNDLE.

POSTED FOR YOU BUNDLE

I made a gift box containing six note cards and 12 gift tags.

The box wasn’t made by me – I used one of the MINI PAPER PUMPKIN BOXES.There are 10 in a pack.

MINI PAPER PUMPKIN B0XES

I did make a divider to glue into the base of the box to separate the note cards from the gift tags. The divider was made using Thick Whisper White card stock, 3.75″x 7.25″ and was scored at 2″, 2.75″ and 3.5″.

The flowers were coloured using Old Olive and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends, and Wink of Stella to add some shimmer.

The Tricolour Ribbon colours – Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Purple Posy – inspired me to use strips of Purple Posy DSP around the sides of the box.

I also used Highland Heather and Old Olive DSP for the card fronts, as well as Purple Posy.

Each card had a stamped and punched image/sentiment.

The gift tags are the same – three in each colour and a variety of ribbons used.

The Happy Birthday card has the floral image stamped onto the DSP and the sentiment just fits into the Classic Label Punch.

So far I have posted three Facebook Lives on my mmmstampintime Facebook page. Each one gets a little better and I am pleased with all the new things I am learning.

My Live posts go “live at 11” each Wednesday. Here is a link to the Live I did today.

ADVENTURE AWAITS GIFT BOX

After I made the ‘Beautiful Journey’ card using a piece of DSP with radiating rings and the constellations I had another idea about how to use this DSP.

I went straight to the centre and worked my way out – 7″ for a gift box lid. There are lots of off cuts to use!

I have made a box that is 3″x 3″x 4.5″ and the lid is 3″x 3″x 2″.

I was sooooo pleased by the way the brass rings scalloped at the corners of the lid.

The feather quills and sentiment were stamped onto the BRASS FOIL using Staz On Jet Black ink and then die cut using the TASTEFUL LABELS DIES and THE WORLD MAP DIES.

The gold trim from the FOREVER GREENERY TRIM COMBO worked well with the brass.

Check out that corner – it was not planned, but so fabulous to see!

Woohoo – feeling very clever!

What would you pop inside this gift box for someone about to set off on an adventure?

Leave a comment and let me know – I want to be inspired!
