FUN FOLD FRIDAY IS HERE AGAIN

Today’s Fun Fold Card is a Corner Fold Card.

For this card, just fold down the corner and add some square layers.

I measured 3-1/2″ across the top and down the side so that I could score the diagonal for the corner fold.

Some of the Designer Series Paper was cut for the card front.

The two square panels measure 3″x 3″ and 2-7/8″x 2-7/8″.

The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze on some Sahara Sand cardstock before being cut with the scalloped circle die from the All That Dies.

The card was finished with some Rustic Metallic Dots.

That’s the last project using the He’s The Man Suite for this week. I will definitely be using this collection again soon.

Tomorrow I will introduce you to a collection of new products.

Until then, happy stamping.

FUN FOLD FRIDAY IS A DOUBLE CORNER FLIP CARD

It is loads of fun searching for different fun fold cards to make and share.

Today, I took a Corner Flip Card and decided to create a card that turned in this way on both sides of the card.

I started the scoring for this card directly in the middle across the top of the card. The left hand side measured 1-1/2″ down and the right hand side measured 2-1/2″ down. I turned the corners in and used my Bone Folder to burnish the folded edges sharply.

I carefully measured and cut the Designer Series Paper (card front) and Basic White cardstock (card insert) to match the shape of the card.

Some branch shapes were die cut and positioned behind the stamped and die cut banner. This was then added to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The fern was stamped on the card insert and envelope. Then I added some Decorative Dots to the front of the card.

The last thing I did was to stamp and die cut two ferns. I added them to the card insert so that they sit flat when closed and then pop up when it’s opened.

That was fun!

Tomorrow we start a new week and a new product suite.

Until then, happy stamping.

WELCOME TO FANTASTIC FRIDAY & ANOTHER FUN FOLD PROJECT TO SHARE

Today’s Fun Fold card is a Triple Panel Shaker Card. The trickiest part was ensuring that each of the three layers, where the shaker domes sit, align.

This is the last Gumball Greetings Bundle project this week.

The card base measures 11-1/4″x 5-3/4″. It was scored, along the 11-1/4″ side; at 3-3/4″and 7-1/2″.

After stamping, cutting and assembling the one complete shaker gumball machine, I used it to position the places to die cut the dome shape on the front and inside card flaps.

When these spaces were cut, pieces of the new In Colour DSP sheets measuring 5-5/8″x 3-5/8″ were cut and adhered to card front and the inside layer. After the glue dried, the dome die was positioned inside the space and cut. (See below)

The front of the card feature three ‘I Chews You’ sentiments that were die cut using the smallest of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I used 6″ lengths of three of baker’s twine, from the 2022 – 2024 In Colour™ Baker’s Twine Pack, to tie this bow and attached it to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot.

For this inside layer, I made a Parakeet Party gumball machine.

As you can see – three more square die cut sentiments in Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet and Tahition Tide.

The central layer is where the complete gumball machine shaker card was adhered. I used Tahitian Tide cardstock for the machine.

The smaller gumball machine image was stamped on the envelope and inside the card.

This was such a fun card to make, although a little challenging.

After a week of Gumball Greetings projects, it is time to move on to a new bundle tomorrow.

Until then, happy stamping.
