DESERT LIME

Hello and thank you for popping by.

When you start creating with new products do you just keep making different projects?

That’s what I found I was doing with the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS BUNDLE and the FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY. In a day, I made seven cards and a gift box. I’ll post them on alternate days to make sure that I don’t bore you.

I found a bar of coconut and desert lime soap when I was shopping the other day. The desert lime was close enough for me to make a cactus/desert inspired gift box.

The design of this gift box is very similar to the card I shared on the 24th.

I used the same DSP and colours and colouring techniques.

I used a small LAYERING CIRCLES DIE to cut a semicircle to make it easier to lift the lid.

I added five of the Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 IN COLOUR ENAMEL DOTS to the front of the box.

The natural twine in the product medley was used to tie this triple bow.

This will make a lovely little gift to have on hand for that moment when I want to thank someone for an act of kindness.

Happy stamping.

These are the products I used for this gift box. Just click on the SHOP NOW icon or the individual product images to go straight to my 24 hour online store – if you live in Australia.

SIMPLY SUCCULENTS

Hello to each of you who pops by and checks out my post today.

As promised, I have moved on from wedding cards!

The latest products, on my desk to create with, are the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS BUNDLE and the FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY.

FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY (ENGLISH)

I wanted to use both of these new products in conjunction with each other.

SIMPLY SUCCULENTS BUNDLE

The Designer Series Paper is from the FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY and the image and sentiment stamps are from the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS STAMP SET.

I used the masking technique to stamp the image. The succulents were stamped first and then the mask placed over it, before the pot was stamped.

The succulents were coloured using STAMPIN’ BLENDS and the pot was coloured with the Cajun Craze Water Colour Pencil from the WATERCOLOUR PENCILS ASSORTMENT 2 and blended it with a BLENDER PEN.

As you can see, I trimmed the left half of the stamped cardstock using a trimmer and fussy cut the right half. I wanted to soften the vertical lines of the DSP.

There are two new linen threads in this medley. I used the natural one for this card.

And, some CLEAR WINK OF STELLA finished the card.

Happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this card. Remember, that if you live in Australia, you can order any of them by clicking on the icons/images below – this will take you to my 24 hour online store.
