During Sale-a-bration there is an amazing opportunity for those of you who love creating to join Stampin’ Up! and receive greate benefits. If you live in Australia and would like to know more, please reach out and we can have a chat.

Today’s project started with a Peach Pie card base and a panel of DSP (Designer Series Paper) that has a lovely, small floral and leaf design.

I also used the same Pecan Pie DSP that were on both my Monday and Tuesday projects.

After preparing the card base and DSP layers, I began die cutting the floral and leaf elements.

The colours I used for the flowers and leaves were Peach Pie and Old Olive. The card had Adhesive Sheets attached to back to ensure an easier, and less sticky, way to join them.

To create the darker inserts, I coloured these two card colours using the same dark Stampin’ Blends Pens.

I attached the two branches on the card front before beginning to position and secure the flowers.

The birthday greeting was stamped, die cut and trimmed. Then I added a strip cut from a sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the front of the card.

I took a long length of Linen thread and tied a layered bow. After trimming the ends, I secured it to the card front using a mini Glue Dot.

A strip of DSP was added to the card insert and a larger piece was adhered to the back of the envelope.

Finally, I coloured some white Adhesive-backed Sequins, from the Trio Pack, using the dark Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends pen.

Tomorrow is Thursday and I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

TUESDAY AND IT’S TIME FOR SOME TECHNIQUES & TIPS

For my project today I used one of the dies from the Delightful Wishes Bundle and created a stencil so that I could ‘stamp’ the design on the card front.

TIP: After die cutting the stencil, I positioned it on the Basic White panel and secured it with some Post-it Labeling and Cover-up Tape. THis helps to keep the stencil in place while applying the Pool Party ink with the Blending Brush.

For this card front, I used the mask three times on the card front panel and on the card insert and baco of the envelope.

After colouring the stencil design on the card front panel I measured up the area for the Pecan Pie and Designer Series Paper panel.

The panels were cut and glued together before being positioned in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I took my Paper Snips and fussy cut several flowers and leaves and decorated the Pecan Pie panel.

The ‘wishing’ sentiment was first stamped onto Basic White card before I cut around it using the coordinating die. The white card had a piece of Adhesive Sheet attached.

I took a piece of Pecan Pie card, with Adhesive Sheet, and die cut another ‘wishing’ outline. The white was layered onto the Pecan Pie and then attached to the card front.

The second part of the greetinf was stamped and then die cut.

TIP: It is easy to shorten, or lengthen, many of the label dies by partially cutting and then repositioning the die. For this greeting, I shortened the length of the stamped words.

To finish this card, I adhered soe of the Tiny Bee Trinkets to the Pecan Pie panel.

Tomorrow I have a card that has minimal stamping but lots of die cutting.

Until then, happy stamping.

WELCOME TO ANOTHER NEW STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCT SUITE – FLORAL DELIGHT

This week I am featuring the brand new Floral Delight Product Suite and it is amazing.

You can this, and loads more goodies, in the January – April 2025 Mini Catalogue. If you live in Australia and would like your own copy just reach out and I will get one to you. Or click on the image below and see the digital version.

You will find this new suite on pages 33-37.

Here’s a sneak peek.

For my first project I wanted to make a birthday card.

I started with a Basic White cardbase and added a narrow panel of the Pecan Pie Designer Series Paper.

Then I added two smaller rectangular pieces of the Pool Party floral vellum from the Floral & Gingham Vellum 12″x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The stem of forsythia flowers took four stampes and colours to create. I stamped the Pecan Pie stem first and then the Lemon Lolly petals. The Daffodil Delight petal highlights were next, followed by the Old Olive leaves.

Then I stamped the bursts of dots in Pool Party.

After trimming this panel, to fit over the top vellum layer, I dragged the edges of the card through my Paper Snips to create the distressed edges. Using a Blending Brush and Pecan Pie ink I gave the distressed edges an antiqued finish.

The greeting comes in two parts – a die cut and layered ‘wishing’ and a stamped and die cut ‘you have a happy birthday’.

By adding Adhesive Sheet to the back of both the Basic White and Pecan Pie card it was very easy to layer and secure the die cut elements.

I added a strip of the vellum to the card insert and some of the Pecan Pie DSP to the back of the envelope.

The final tounch was to adhere some of the very sweet Tiny Bee Trinkets to the card front.

Tomorrow I have a technique tip for you.

Until then, happy stamping.
