ANOTHER FLORAL FAREWELL CARD

Hello to everyone who pops by. I appreciate you taking the time to see what I have been making. If this is your first visit, welcome.

As I mentioned yesterday, I am making a few projects with current products before my interest is drawn away to my new arrivals (and, I am very excited to start using them and sharing with you very soon).

I am still using the Fine Art Floral Suite today but this card is a very different look.

Instead of using the Fine Art FLoral Designer Series Paper, I used the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate. I simply cut an overlay piece of the acetate and attached a length of soon to retire Night of Navy Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon from the Boho Indigo product Medley. I used small quantities of Stampin’ Seal to attach the acetate to the front of the Night of Navy cardbase. The Seal was placed on gold areas on the reverse side – this way it was not seen on the front of the card.

The sentiment was stamped using Versamark and sprinkled with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder before I used the Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. The coordinating die was used to cut it out. It was a perfect size for the ribbon. The floral image was stamped inside the card, on a Basic White insert, and the envelope. To finish the card, I added some silver Metallic Pearls.

I think this would make a perfect card for a silver anniversary. What occasion would you use this card for?

Happy stamping.

SAYING FAREWELL

Hello and welcome. I hope that you are popping by again and like today’s project.

As the new Stampin’ Up!® 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalogue fast approached, I thought that I would make a card or two using the Fine Art Floral Suite. Although this suite is still current and while the Art Gallery Stamp Set and Floral Gallery Dies will carry over into the new Annual Catalogue, the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper will retire at the end of June.

And to be very honest, as soon as I start playing with my preordered new products, I may temporarily lose interest in what I already have. Am I bad? Do you do this when you get new products?

For this card the DSP does all the hard work. I chose one of the floral images to fussy cut for the focal point. I also cut the larger flower in Vellum to place behind the smaller flower. I also popped a length of Bumblebee ribbon behind the circles.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut the two scalloped circles in Vellum and a circle in Night of Navy cardstock. This sentiment is great for lots of occasions. To continue to ‘use up’ my Designer Series Paper, I added a strip to the front of the envelope.

It seems silly to say ‘happy stamping’ because I didn’t do much stamping on this card. Anyway, happy stamping.

TIME FOR SOME FINE ART

Hello and welcome. Thank you for popping by and seeing what I have created for you today.

While I’m waiting for my delivery of brand, new and exciting products from the soon to be available 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!®, I am revisiting some of the products I have from the January to June Mini Catalogue.

It seems like ages since I used the Fine Art Floral Suite, so I made two cards to share today.

I love the texture the Stampin’ Up!® artists created when they painted the floral canvases that were used for the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. The colours are rich and vibrant.

I used my Treasured Tags Pick a Punch to make the Merry Merlot background for the birthday die cut greeting. If you haven’t seen the Floral Gallery Dies before, there are are two sizes of the scalloped label dies. The one I used here is the longest one. You can click on the image to go to my online store.

FLORAL GALLERY DIES

This is the second card.

I am so pleased that both the ribbons I used for these cards are carrying over into the new catalogue – Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon and 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon.

ART GALLERY PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

The greetings/sentiments in the Art Gallery Stamp Set are so versatile – they cover just about every occasion.

I enjoy having a variety of cards on hand and this stamp set helps make that possible.

I hope you like today’s projects.

Happy stamping.
