DSP – mmm…Stampin' Time

JUST NOTES

I found a large bright pink sticky notepad and a marker in a similar colour and decided to make a holder for it.

The Misty Moonlight and Magenta Madness card stock and 2020-2022 DSP make a perfect colour combination for this project.

I am so pleased that we now have FOAM ADHESIVE SHEETS! It is so easy to pop onto to card and then die cut the letters using the PLAYFUL ALPHABET DIES.

The IN COLOUR RIBBON gives the note holder a sweet bow finish.

Untie the bow and check out the bright pink!

Now that it’s finished, i plan to give it to my daughter for her work desk.

TIME TO DO SOME CHALLENGES!

I have joined in a few challenges over the last year or so. They are fun and encourage me to go beyond my comfort zone.

Earlier this month I saw the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge on Facebook and decided to challenge myself again.

This is such an interesting colour combination – and not one that I would have put together; hence the ‘out of comfort zone’ challenge.

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use the IN GOOD TASTE SUITE, that I ordered during pre-order.

Now if you don’t know what a pre-order is, it is one of the amazing benefits of being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator is that you get to see new catalogues a month before they go live to customers and you can order from a selection of the new products before the catalogue goes live.

The ribbon is from the FOREVER GREENERY SUITE and it ruches beautifully.

The feathers are fussy cut and have some Wink of Stella added for a little ‘bling’.

The IN GOOD TASTE DSP is so gorgeous … so many amazing textures.

The floral elements were made using the MANY LAYERED BLOSSOMS DIE and layered.

I’VE BEEN BUSY – THE BEST KIND OF BUSY

So much for my goal of posting every day!

But I think you will be happy with my ‘excuse’.

Three weeks ago, I had a call from Emma Parkin-Wilson, the Demonstrator Development Manager for New Zealand and Queensland, asking if I would be interested in doing a Facebook Live presentation as part of Stampin’ Up!’s On Tour Online [English].

Without hesitation, I said YES!

I received a beautiful brown box containing the FOREVER GREENERY SUITE and started preparing my display resources and creating projects to share with demonstrators from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.

So, without ever having done a Facebook Live before, it was time to rip off the bandaid and make it work.

The ‘getting it to work’ part threw up many challenges but on the day – Tuesday 12th at 6pm MT [actually Wednesday 13th at 10am EST], I went live.

And, of course, only as I seem to able to do – the video disappeared from the closed Facebook Group an hour or so later. No amount of searching for it or how to retrieve it helped.

I decided to video my presentation and upload it to the group. In the end it all worked out – although it did take two and a half hours for the video to load.

I now have a long list of online training that I need to do in order to make online presentations less frustrating.

Let me show you the goodies I got to play with!

The FOREVER FERN STAMP SET and coordinating FOREVER FLOURISHING DIES make a gorgeous bundle [FOREVER FERN BUNDLE].

I love the cool and refreshing greens used in the FOREVER GREENERY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. It also uses one of the new 2020-2022 IN COLOURS – JUST JADE!

These two GREENERY EMBOSSING FOLDERS are smaller in size and will work perfectly in the new MINI CUT AND EMBOSS MACHINE. This image only shows half the length of each folder. The other half of the bottom folder is a mirror image of the leaves shown.

The FOREVER GREENERY TRIM COMBO includes a gold metallic trim and a half inch Vanilla open weave ribbon that you use frayed, coloured or as is.

I think the star of this suite are these FOREVER GOLD LASER CUT SPECIALTY PAPER. There is a combination of botanical elements, banners and pre-cut card front panels.
