IT’S MONDAY & THAT MEANS IT IS TIME TO KEEP HIGHLIGHTING SOME NEW STAMIN’ UP! PRODUCTS

Over the past week I have been sharing the projects I made using the Country Woods Suite Collection.

Today I have a Window Card to share with you.

I started with a piece of Basic Gray card measuring 6 1/2″x 4 1/8″ and scored across the top at 3/4″. Then I attached a piece of 5 5/8″x 4 1/8″ Window Sheet using Stampin’ Seal+.

A 4 1/8″x 3/4″ strip of Basic Gray card was attached to the base of the window sheet, again using Stampin’ Seal+.

The birdhouse was cut from a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper. The roof line and birdhouse circular opening were cut from card that had Adhesive Sheet attached. Once the birdhouse was assembled I added Seal+ to the back of the house and secured it to the front of the window sheet.

The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of the same DSP and glued in place.

The bird was stamped, coloured and fussy cut before having Clear Wink of Stella brushed across it. Some Seal+ helped to secure it in place.

A few of the white Iridescent Adhesive-backed Discs were used to add some bling to the card.

I positioned the Basic White birdhouse directly behind the front birdhouse and onto the inside section of the card. A piece of the DSP was added also.

Tomorrow I have a collection of three cards to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

THIS SUNDAY I HAVE ANOTHER PROJECT TO SHARE WITH YOU

The Country Birdhouse Bundle and Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder are so gorgeous.

For this card I was looking for a fine woodgrained texture. Although I an enamoured with the Country Woods 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper, the designs were all larger than I was looking for.

Solution – use the Wood Textured Specialty Paper.

After folding the Petal Pnk cardbase, I added a layer of Basic White Thick card that was embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. This gives such a sweet and delicate texture to the card.

Before die cutting the birdhouse, I attached a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of Wood Textured Specialty Paper. After cutting each of the eight birdhouse pieces, they were coloured using Early Espresso, Petal Pink and Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pads and Blending Brushes.

The birdhouse was assembled and then positioned on the embossed layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment, in Pool Party, onto a panel of Basic White Thick card. The thicker card helps the sentiment stay more rigid, especially when supported by dimensionals.

The only embellishment added was this sweet little bow made with the Petal Pink Diagonal Ribbon. It was attached with a Mini Glue Dot.

With the textured detail , from the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, I thought adding gems or pearls would be too much. Sometimes, less is more!

The card insert and envelope flap each had some of the Petal Pink Country Lace DSP added.

Tomorrow I will share a birdhouse Window Card with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

STILL SHOWCASING THE COUNTRY WOODS SUITE COLLECTION

Here is another project I created for a Stampin’ Up! demonstrators’ team day.

I used one of the card templates featured on page 22 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue. The first layout was the one I chose for this card.

I have long held the practise of giving a plant, as a condolence, rather than flowers. So I delighted to use the Country Flowers Bundles and Country Lace Designer Series Paper to create a sympathy card.

While the colours look a little sombre, I think they work well for this card. I used a cardbase of Wild Wheat cardstock and layered a panel of Basic Gray card and a piece of the DSP which had some Wild Wheat 2023-2025 In Colour Jute Trim wrapped around it then tied in a bow.

The images were stamped using Basic Gray, die cut and then coloured using Stampin’ Blends – Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Wild Wheat and the Colour Lifter.

The stool image was stamped on a piece of Wood Textured Specialty Paper, giving the perfect fine wood grain texture for a piece of furniture on this scale. It was then coloured with Pecan Pie and a Blending Brush.

Each of the die cut and coloured pieces were then layered and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The final touch was to add some of the Basic Gray and Smoky Slate Pearls to the card.

I don’t believe any of us want to have too many sympathy cards in our collection but just enough to not need to make one in urgency.

Tomorrow’s card uses more of the Wood Textured Specialty Paper – an unsung hero from the Annual Catalogue.

Until then, happy stamping.
