PLAYING IN THE RAIN IS ALWAYS FUN!

I wanted to share another one of new bundles available in the new January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue.

PLAYING IN THE RAIN BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

The PLAYING IN THE RAIN BUNDLE is $96.25AUD and is a qualifying purchase to choose a FREE Sale-a-bration product – remember you only have until the end of February for Sale-a-bration.

I used the this bundle for my #137 Colour INKspiration Challenge project. This is such a stunning scene!

May be an image of outdoors, tree and text

So what do a seaside scene and playing in the rain have in common? Water and a Colour INKspiration challenge.

The three super cute images were coloured using the Stampin’ Blends that coordinate with this challenge.

The Deckled Rectangles Dies were perfect to matte the three coloured characters.

The envelope and inside the card were also stamped.

The finishing touch was to add a few Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds.

Don’t forget to place your orders this month so that you can still earn your FREE Sale-a-bration products.

I have another card to share with you tomorrow. Until then, happy stamping.

If you live in Australia, you can order your stampin’ Up! supplies through me.

TIME TO BE INKSPIRED

The #CI126 is an amazing combination of colours, inspired by this piece of First Nation’s art found by Denita Wright-Smee.

May be an image of text that says '#126 f/ns T COLOUR SPIRATION Pumpkin Pie Melon Mambo Bermuda Bay Cajun Craze Soft Suede'

I cannot wait to see what projects are created using this rich and bold colours.

For me, I decided to use the Bottled Happiness and Vintage Christmas Stamp Sets, along with the Vintage Bottle Punch. Woohoo!

Here we go – a Sofy Suede cardbase and a slightly smaller Soft Suede panel that has been embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was adhered directly onto the cardbase.

The next steps involved stamping two of same-sized bottles, using each of the five featured colours. I stamped 3 bottles using the Vintage Christmas Stamp Set and two bottles from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set.

All five bottles were punched out using the Vintage Bottle Punch. Each bottle was then popped up on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The floral image, from the Vintage Christmas Stamp Set, was stamped in three of the five INKspiration colours before being fussy cut. Each of these small floral bouquets were added to the bottle necks using Dimensionals.

The first and last bottles, on the card front, had a length of Linen Thread tied around the neck and into a bow.

This card was so much fun to make using this ColourINKspiration Challenge. This is the first card I have created using the Bottled Happiness Bundle and the Vintage Christmas Stamp Set.

The final step was to add some Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

I am not sure what I have planned for tomorrow but I am confident that you will like it.

Until then, happy stamping.

IT’S TIME FOR A NEW COLOUR INKSPIRATION CHALLENGE

This week’s challenge is so bright and cheerful.

May be an image of furniture and text that says 'COLOUR nSPIRATION SPIRATION CHALLENGES #125 Sweet Sorbet Pacific Point Starry Sky Basic Gray'

I decided to see how I could combine these colours with the Christmas Scottie Bundle. Let me know what you think.

I used the plaid image from the Christmas Scottie Stamp Set to stamp it in Pacific Point, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet. Then I used the smallest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut three squares in each colour.

Then I positioned each of the squares on the card front.

The scottie image was inked in Basic Gray and then spritzed with some water. This gave the image a blotchy, textured and furry look. It was cut using the Scottie Dog Punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the dog up from the front of the card.

A scrap of the plaid was punched to create the bow.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the ‘lead’ in Memento Jet Black ink.

The greeting was stamped twice – once in Starry Sky and again, in Sweet Sorbet. I trimmed the FURRY AND BRIGHT and layered over the blue greeting. Dimensionals were used again to give different levels to the greeting.

Finally, I added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card for a little bling.

Oops, I forgot to place the Pacific Point ink in this photo.

I look forward to seeing what you create for the #CI125 challenge.

Tomorrow I will have my Global Design Project card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
