Card ideas – Page 90 – mmm…Stampin' Time

FIELDS OF FLOWERS

I made a couple of cards, using the FIELD OF FLOWERS STAMP SET, in early June but thought that I would use it again for my Facebook Live this week.

This time I used it with the RAINBOW GLIMMER PAPER to make it bright and bold.

The CONFETTI FLOWERS BORDER PUNCH punches out these gorgeous little flowers that I used on the lower two panels.

The Coastal Cabana ribbon from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS RIBBON COMBO PACK coordinated beautifully with the colours from the Glimmer Paper.

I haven’t used the Gorgeous Grape card stock, DSP and ink very much in the past, but I think I need to use it more.

What do you think? It is pretty bold.

TODAY’S PLAN

I have finally had a chance to play with the new NOTHING’S BETTER THAN STAMP SET.

Oh, it is going to be so much fun to stamp with. It was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Connie Stewart.

When a demonstrator reaches a million CSV in sales they are invited to visit the Stampin’ Up!® home office in Riverton, Utah. One of things they get to do is sit with the concept artists and discuss the style of the stamp they would like made. (CSV is method that calculates the value of sales across different markets and currencies).

If you like any or all of the following, then I think you’ll love this stamp set – CHOCOLATE, COCKTAILS, COFFEE, COOKIES!

The RECTANGULAR POSTAGE STAMP PUNCH worked perfectly for this card.

I stamped the four main words onto my card base and then stamped and punched the images.

My next project might be to make a set of 3″x 3″ cards. What do you think?

COLOUR CHALLENGE

A little while ago, I shared a card that I made for a colour challenge.

I find it’s a great way to work with different colour combinations – especially if they are not your ‘go to’ colours.

This was the Inkspiration for CI#80. Not my usual palette, but so pretty!

So this is my ‘entry’.

I thought the TODAY’S TILES STAMP SET was an interesting way to showcase the colours without choosing a floral stamp and colouring.

And the TASTEFUL TEXTILE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER is becoming one of my favourites!

I stamped several times using different colour combinations, then cut strips before popping each strip up onto dimensionals. The three Purple Posy tiles were achieved by using my Stampin’ Write Marker™.

I’m looking forward to inking up some of my ink spots in different colours to make some more cards.
