THANK YOU

Hello everyone! I am so pleased that you have popped by today.

This card is one that I made during my Facebook Live this Wednesday.

it is time for another blog hop. I am really enjoying taking part in different blog hops and challenges. It is a great way to ensure that I am using my Stampin’ Up!® products and posting projects regularly. I hope that you like today’s.

May be an image of one or more people and text that says 'KYLIE BERTUCCI'S Monthly International' Blog HIGHLIGHTS'

The ongoing theme for this blog hop is THANK YOU. I really like this theme, while it might seem like the idea of thanking someone is unfashionable, it is alive and well and needs to be modelled for others. If I send someone a thank you card, that is a prompt for them to remember to thank others for what they appreciate.

This is the card I made for the April 2021 Blog Highlights – an image of my card is posted on Kylie’s gallery.

This gallery features everyone’s submissions and gives you the opportunity to vote for up to 5 of your favourite cards. The top 10 vote winners then get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

How to do Voting?
Once you click on the link below you can see the photos. Please look for my rainbow thank you card (#11) and click on the little heart sign on the right-hand top side of my photo. Once you’ve touched the little clear heart it will turn to Red Color and that is the notification that you voted. You can vote for up to five, but it’s not required, you can also just vote for one. Thanks so much!

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image.jpeg

My rainbow was created by using one of the images from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and five bright rainbow colours – Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Pacific Point and Poppy Parade.

To achieved the even spacing and aligned position of each image by using my Stamparatus. I had a second stamped image and used it to create the stem of leaves. By placing Adhesive Sheet on the back of the stamped cardstock, I was able to secure the bottom half of the stem to the card front. I secured the top half, in one spot, using a Mini Glue Dot. This meant the top four leaves were able to float.

The greeting was stamped in Granny Apple Green and cut using one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I used white and black twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack. After stamping the image on the card insert and envelope, I then added some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card as well.

I was very pleased with the way this card turned out. It was a successful ‘experiment’ because I wanted to see what this set would look like in very different colours.

Who would you send a rainbow thank you card to?

Happy stamping.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hello! Thanks for popping by today. I am so pleased that you are here.

Today I wanted to share a Birthday card that I have made. It features the Pattern Party 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper, that is one of the Stampin’ Rewards products in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.

As you can see, I am also featuring the Stitched Rectagles Dies. I carefully positiond the die so that each piece would look almost identical. Working from the centre out, each triangle was glued onto a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock, with spaces in between. One of the striped triangles was cut in half for each end. The Granny Apple Green piece was attached to a slightly wider piece of Coastal Cabana card.

Using one of the Basic Borders Dies, I cut two lengths of Basic White cardstock and adhered them behind the Coastal Cabana. These layers were then popped up onto a Flirty Flamingo card base using lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The birthday greeting is from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and it was cut using the banner die from the Hybrid Bloom Dies. The card insert and envelope had a half triangle attached before Coastal Cabana Playing with Patterns Resin Dots were added.

I used three different sets of dies for this card. This card is all about the DSP and the shapes that have been cut. These two designs, from the huge 48 sheet bundle of DSP, are so gorgeous.

These is only one stamp used, once. My fingers didn’t get very inky with this project.

What do you think?

Happy stamping.

FIVE HAPPY PENGUINS

Hello, hello. Thank you for popping by to see what I have for you today.

My daughter shares an apartment with a lovely young woman from Wales. She works as a paediatric nurse and has recently been given permanent residency and a new job, at he hospital she works in. And, what does any daughter with a mum who makes cards do? She asked me to make a card to congratulate her.

My daughter’s room mate adores penguins and, fortunately, we now have the Count on Me Stamp Set.

If you have been visiting regularly over the last few weeks you will know that my Stamparatus has been put to good use. I used it again for this card so that I could evenly space and position the congratulations message, which comes from the A Grand Kid Stamp Set. Then I stamped and coloured the penguins before I was back doing some fussy cutting. Two of the penguins were mirrored stamped.

Each of the penguins was then popped up, on the card front, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also stamped and coloured the penguiins on the card insert and envelope – you know me, that’s my thing. I added some Clear Wink of Stella on each of the balloons. I’m not sure why I didn’t add any bling to the card – oops.

As you can see, I used quite a few colours to brighten up the five floating penguins. I can’t wait to use the other cute animal images for some new projects.

Do you know someone who loves penguins?

Happy stamping.
