PAMPERED PETS

When we moved to Brisbane we needed to find a new home for our 14 year old beagle, Breaka. It would have terrible for him being cooped up in a two bedroom apartment, with no yard.

Fortunately, there are lots of dogs that live in and around our area, so we do get to see dogs regularly.

When I first saw the PLAYFUL PETS SUITE, I knew that it would be perfect because there are so many dog and cat lovers out there. And, it is super cute!

As I was stamping the food bowls, it reminded of Breaka’s meal times. He could almost inhale his food.

Using one inch strips of the DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is such an easy way to create an interesting card front.

This schnauzer is too cute. He was coloured using STAMPIN’ BLENDS.

The bone embellishment is a great way to finish the card.

Although I am not a great fan of cats, I’ll make some feline-themed cards soon.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

LUCKY ME

Many of you will know that I’m not an eager fussy cutter but when I was thinking about the design for this card, I knew that I wanted to grab my paper snips and start cutting.

The GAME ON STAMP SET is a great set for masculine cards. This card would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

This is the first time I have used a sheet from the COLOUR VELVETEEN PAPER, from the Annual Catalogue. The texture is so soft and luxurious.

I stamped the cards in CINNAMON CIDER to match the velveteen paper.

The texture was created using the OLD WORLD PAPER EMBOSSING FOLDER.

I’m so pleased with the way this card turned out. Woo hoo!

What do you think?

COLOURFUL GIFT BOWS

For this Christmas inspired gift box I used the new GIFT WRAPPED STAMP SET and coordinating GIFT BOW BUILDER PUNCH.

A little white heat embossing followed by colouring with STAMPIN’ BLENDS.

I DIDN’T REALISE THIS PHOTO WAS CROOKED!

The RED RHINESTONE and HOLIDAY RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS were perfect for that added bling.

Now all I need to do is decide what to buy to pop into this gift box for Christmas – and find a place to store it for the next four months or so.

The finished box is 4.5″x 4.5″x 1.75″ (excluding the bows on top).

What would you pop inside?

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping and gift box making!
