CHRISTMAS TAGS

I spent the weekend working on Christmas goodies for my upcoming market stall – gift tags and bags, mainly.

It is amazing how much card stock and designer series paper I used!

Today I want to show you the gift tags I made to pop around the neck of a bottle of wine or spirits, for the grown ups on your Christmas list.

I used a full length of A4 card stock and cut them into 3″ panels. Each panel is scored at 3″ from the top and I used the wheel die from the SMOOTH SAILING DIES set. It makes a perfect hole that can open out to match most bottles.

The Christmas greeting and to/from come from the TAG BUFFET PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET. The BANNERS PICK A PUNCH makes the perfect banner ends.

The trees were cut out using the MOST WONDERFUL TIMES DIES.

I have made almost 20 of these so far, using the HEARTWARMING HUGS and BRIGHTLY GLEAMING SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

The finishing touch was topping each tree with STAR DESIGNER ELEMENTS.

Now I need to find a creative way to use all of the ship wheels that were cut out.

I hope these are popular at the market – DOCKSIDE MARKETS in Kangaroo Point, December 5th and 6th (from 7am until 1pm). If you live in Brisbane, I hope you have a chance to pop by and say hello.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make these gift tags. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

A CHRISTMAS WATERFALL

It has been such a long time since I made a waterfall card. So, I decided to make one with a Christmas card.

After looking through my new stamp sets, from the August through December Mini Catalogue. I decided to use the GIFT WRAPPED STAMP SET.

That meant that I would need to reconfigure the measurements for the waterfall panels because the ribbon images are larger than the standard instructions that so many lovely demonstrators and stampers have shared online.

I chose Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White as my colour theme.

This was also a great opportunity to use some of the products from the QUITE CURVY VARIETY BUNDLE that is available to demonstrators this month and for customers from 3 NOVEMBER 2020–4 JANUARY 2021.

The bundle has two stamp sets and I used the CURVEY CHRISTMAS STAMP SET (155364). The curved stars stamp is so gorgeous.

I also used a piece of paper from the CLASSIC CHRISTMAS 6″X 6″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER (155969). It is such an amazing bundle of DSP in Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White. The designs are perfect for Christmas but can be used for other occasions as well.

The grid style paper is definitely a favourite.

Each bow design was stamped using Shaded Spruce and then coloured using STAMPIN’ BLENDS.

As the tab is pulled down, each bow is presented and the greeting is slowly revealed. The greeting is from the TAG BUFFET STAMP SET.

The final panel has the curved stars image from the CURVY CHRISTMAS STAMP SET and the greeting and mistletoe is from the TAG BUFFET STAMP SET.

The tab is a 1/2″ strip of Shaded Spruce that has been punched using the BANNERS PICK A PUNCH.

This card does not open out, like most cards, but there is a piece Whisper White cardstock on the back that will allow a space to write a message. It has the same curved stars image, from CURVY CHRISTMAS, and another greeting from GIFT WRAPPED – “Wrapped especially for you”.

I was very pleased with the way this waterfall card turned out. What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

I only have a partial visual product list to share with you today because the CURVY CHRISTMAS STAMP SET or the CLASSIC CHRISTMAS 6″X 6″ DSP is not yet available. These are the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

MAKEOVER COMPLETE

I don’t know about you but I frequently need to rethink or make changes to projects I work on.

As I mentioned yesterday, last Wednesday during my Facebook Live I had some of those moments.

One card definitely needed a remake.

This is the makeover – and it looks so much better. I stamped the jar outline onto some FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON DSP and the spacing between the jars is much, much better.

It is a great feeling when finish a project and you are happy with the outcome!

Do you have the same experiences? How do you fix the cards that you’re not happy with?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used t make this card. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.
