FLOATING BY WITH A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR YOU TODAY

It is Technique Tuesday and I have a floating circle technique to share with you today.

To start, I cut varying widths of the Designer Series Paper and used Stampin’ Seal+ to secure it over some Window Sheet.

The EarlyEspresso card base had a stamped piece of Cajun Craze adhered to it.

A smaller piece of DSP was also added to the card front. I chose the small round stamp to coordinate with the DSP design.

I used the scalloped circle die from the All That Dies to cut three floating circles. To ensure they float, Stampin’ Dimensionals were placed under the DSP strips.

The greeting was stamped and cut using another of the dies from the same set.

The scalloped circle die also leaves a great looking embossed double circle close to the edge.

This such a great masculine stamp set that has everything covered – birthday, anniversary, Father’s Day and more.

Tomorrow I will a few projects to share. One will be for the Global Design Project and another one for the Freshly Brewed Project blog hop.

Until then, happy stamping.

KEEPING THINGS SIMPLE ON SATURDAY

Welcome to a new week of crafting fun. This week I am focusing all my projects on the He’s the Man Suite.

One note card and envelope, one ink colour and two stamps. Is it possible to make an easier card?

For this card I added some strips of He’s the Man 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I used the Banners Pick a Punch to shape the top piece of DSP.

The Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were the perfect way to finish the front of the second card.

Tomorrow is Step It Up Sunday. I will have four cards to share with you tomorrow.

Until then, happy stamping.
