FUN FOLD FRIDAY IS HERE AGAIN

Today’s Fun Fold Card is a Corner Fold Card.

For this card, just fold down the corner and add some square layers.

I measured 3-1/2″ across the top and down the side so that I could score the diagonal for the corner fold.

Some of the Designer Series Paper was cut for the card front.

The two square panels measure 3″x 3″ and 2-7/8″x 2-7/8″.

The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze on some Sahara Sand cardstock before being cut with the scalloped circle die from the All That Dies.

The card was finished with some Rustic Metallic Dots.

That’s the last project using the He’s The Man Suite for this week. I will definitely be using this collection again soon.

Tomorrow I will introduce you to a collection of new products.

Until then, happy stamping.

If you live in Australia, you can order any of the products I used to make this card by going to my online store. Just click on any of the images below.

Because some of the products I have used to make this card are not yet available to customers, I am not able to show them at this time.

A GIFT BOX FOR A BOTTLE OF SMOKY BOURBON MARINADE

I bought a bottle of smoky bourbon marinade recently and decided that I should make a gift box for it because the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper is perfect.

I’m not sure why these photos are formatted differently today. I’ll fix that for next week.

The box was made with Basic Black cardstock and decorated with the black and white barbecue Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment was stamped using Cajun Craze on Basic White cardstock. It was cut using the oval die from the All That Dies. It was then popped up on a Cajun Craze scalloped circle.

I used one of the pop out barbecues from the DSP package.

Then I bundled up some extra long matches and tied them together using a length of Early Espresso Faux Seude Ribbon.

Tomorrow is Fun Fold Friday.

Until then, happy stamping.

WEDNESDAY IS THE DAY FOR FRESHLY BREWED PROJECTS

Wednesdays are always fun and challenging. I make two or three projects for different challenges and blog hops. That keeps me busy.

The theme for this week’s Freshly Brewed Projects hop is Paper Piecing.

May be an image of coffee cup and text that says 'Freshly Brewed PROJEGTS'

I used different piecing ‘techniques’ for this card.

The first was piecing together all of these arrow shaped banners. I alternated the colours and created a bricklike look.

The second piecing sample was the VW Combi. I stamped the combi a second time on a piece of the DSP and cut out the bottom half of the van. Then I secured it to the stamped and die cut sentiment. Before placing it on the card, I placed two Crushed Curry banners to it. With a few Stampin’ Dimensionals it popped right up off the card.

The Rustic Metallic Dots look so good with this colour combination and DSP.

The DSP on the combi looks great.

I enjoyed making this card for the blog hop. Make sure you hop around to see what the rest of the Freshly Brewed Project crew have shared.

Tomorrow is 3D Thursday and I have a gift box for a tasty barbecue marinade.

Until then, happy stamping.
