A CUTE 3D PROJECT FOR A THANK YOU GIFT

Today I have a little gift box to share. I bought a small Geranium & Rosewood scented bath oil as a thank you gift.

The box measures 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″x 3″ (excluding the front and back flaps).

The banner die was threaded over the front and back flaps so that I could cut these single scallop ends. I repeated this with a piece of the Designer Series Paper.

The main colours used are Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet from the new 2022 2024 In Colours.

The branches were cut from a small piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and attached to the back flap.

The sentiment was stamped, cut and attached to the front flap. The Polished Dots were coloured with one of the Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends.

Finally, a #tammybow was added to the front of the gift box.

I always enjoy the time I spend making 3D projects. Now I have another small thank you gift in my cupboard ready to give.

Tomorrow is Fun Fold Friday.

Until then, happy stamping.

3D THURSDAY & TIME FOR A CUTE TEA BAG HOLDER

A quick post today as there are a few things on my list to get done.

As I am featuring the Tea Boutique Suite this week I thought that a tea and biscuit gift pouch would be a great project to share.

After taking the measurements needed to make the pouch, I mapped out my layout and started cutting and scoring the sheet of Sweet Sorber A4 card stock.

I cut this DSP design into three panels – a large one for both the front and back, and then a smaller strip for the pouch topper. Before I glued the topper piece down, I attached a length of the Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon to the flap and then secured it with the DSP.

The two sides were scored down the centre to allow the top of the pouch to come together more readily.

I stamped and die cut the three tea bag labels and placed them on the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

It was quick and easy to just slide the tea bag and biscuit packs into the pouch and tie the bow.

Super cute and very easy to make.

Tomorrow, I hope to have a fun fold card to share.

Until the, happy stamping.

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY AND TIME FOR MY FRESHLY BREWED PROJECTS CREATION

Whew … it is an hour and 10 minutes before this post will go live. I finished my project 5 mnutes ago. That’s calling it close.

May be an image of coffee cup and text that says 'Freshly Brewed PROJEGTS'

The theme this week is use Acetate/Window Sheets in our projects … can be a shaker card, window card, peek thru or even just an acetate layer that has been stamped or embossed.

Because I have left this project until the last moment, I decided to use one of the soon to be retired acetate packaging boxes – C6 Acetate Card Boxes.

I assembled the box, adding Mini Glue Dots to hold the base inserts in place.

I made a 4-1/4″ belly band, using the new Parakeet Party 2022 – 2024 In Colour A4 cardstock, and fitted it around the acetate box.

Using the Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, I wrapped the ribbon around the box three times and tied a bow.

I used all the 2022 – 2024 In Colours to stamp, colour and die cut the gumballl machine.

The sentiment was stamped in Parakeet Party and was then cut using one of the square Stylish Shapes Dies.

The machine and sentiment pieces were then placed on the belly band using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The last thing I did was to fill the acetate box with SKittles Giants.

This was a quick, easy and fun project to make for this blog hop.

Make sure that you see what the other Freshly Brewed Project Team members have created.

Tomorrow is 3D Thursday, however my post will be a little later in the day.

Until then, happy stamping.
