JUST FOR YOU

I found a cute little Nivea Moisturising Cream travel tub when I was at the supermarket – perfect for a small treat for someone nice.

So, time to make another gift box.

This time I used the LABEL ME FANCY PUNCH to punch slots on opposite sides of the lid, for the ribbon to pass through.

I also used the punch for the tag that guides the ribbon on top of the box.

It’s fun making unique boxes for different gifts – take a few measurements and draw out some plans – sometimes it takes a few trials when I’m making a trickier style.

Who else makes their own gift boxes and bags?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

MOTHER’S DAY – A MONTH AWAY

It’s time to start preparing for Mother’s Day. This year, in Australia, we celebrate our mums on the 10th May.

This is a little gift box that holds a strawberry Revlon Kiss.

The BEST DRESSED SUITE is perfect for any Mother’s Day project. I used Melon Mambo rather than Lovely Lipstick to tie the colour of the lip balm into the project.

Using the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker and Wink of Stella allowed me to emphasise one side of the lipstick die cut.

What will you make for Mother’s Day?

A BAG FULL OF CHOCOLATE

It is time for another chocolate holder.

This is the first bag I have made this way. It has a flat fold base.

I used an empty Lindt bag, with the same type of base, as a template.

The ORNATE GARDEN SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER, COPPER FOIL, COPPER STAMPIN’ EMBOSS POWDER and the COPPER TRIM (from the Notes of Kindness Card Kit) look amazing against the white.

This bag is all about the score lines and by deconstructing the Lindt bag I knew exactly where and how to make my own.

I am soooooo pleased with how well it turned out. The base is also really stable.

The belly band is all that keeps you from the chocolate.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping … this Easter!
