CHRISTMAS TREAT CONE

One of the 3D swaps I received, at a Paper Angels’ Team Training event this year, was gorgeous treat cone. I would love to acknowledge the wonderful demonstrator who shared it but I do not have her name – if you know, please let me know so that I can give her a shout out.

I gently undid her swap so that I could recreate it, using some BRIGHTLY GLEAMING SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIRES PAPER.

This could make a great hanging tree ornament filled with all sorts of Christmas goodies – or it could hold a small but very special Christmas gift.

I love the combination of Night of Navy and Copper Foil. Santa’s hat was stamped in Night of Navy and I used some of the FROST WHITE SHIMMER PAINT to create a furry texture.

Now I need to make a few more so the tree won’t be too bare.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A GIFT OF WINE THIS CHRISTMAS

This wine bottle gift box was made to hold a full sized wine bottle, just in time for Christmas.

FRONT ON IMAGE

Yes, it will hold a full sized bottle of wine.

I used SHADED SPRUCE 12″x 12″ CARDSTOCK, as well as the stunning PLUSH POINSETTIA SPECIALTY PAPER and the RED VELVET PAPER PACK.

AT A SLIGHT ANGLE, WITH LID OFF

I used Real Red and Shaded Spruce as my main colours, with the white from the flocked poinsettia paper and sentiments STITCHED SO LOVELY DIES elements (even though they look like Very Vanilla in this image).

This image shows the wine box from a slightly different angle, with the decorated lid off and to the side.

This photo shows the wine gift box from another angle – looking down from the lid.

And, finally a close up of the poinsettia details on the front of the gift box.

Who would you gift box a bottle of wine for Christmas – friend, work colleague, neighbour or family member?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A LITTLE BOX OF GOODIES

On Monday, I shared a card I made using the ROOTED IN NATURE STAMP SET and coordinating NATURE’S ROOTS DIES. I had lots of stamped, die cut and embossed leaves left over so I used them for a little box of goodies.

The ACETATE CARD BOXES are great for packaging 3″x 3″ cards and envelopes, but they can also be used to package up treats for friends, family or colleagues.

It is quick and easy to make a belly band to wrap around the box.

The new STAMPIN’ SEAL PLUS is perfect to use because it is so strong, so it ensures the band won’t come apart.

One of my favourite greetings is this one – BE STRONG, BE HAPPY, BE YOU”.

As you can see, these sweet treats fit easily into the box.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
